Went for dinner last night, waited 15-20 minutes just for someone to come to the table to ask us for a drink! Once we finally got the drinks we waited about that long to order our food. The bread came out rock hard. Entrees we’re good but it took us almost 2 hours for 2 people to eat a meal. Not once did the waitress apologize, she was very short with us & it’s not like it was busy.
Went for lunch with the girlfriend. Wasn’t overly busy. Took a little while to get seated for whatever reason but other than that great experience. Service was prompt , waitress had our drinks within 20 seconds flat of ordering and were kept topped up without having to ask. Food came out super quick and was fresh and hot. Oil in the fryer was obviously clean , our mozzarella sticks were golden , crispy and fully melted on the inside. Perfect portions for lunch. Overall great experience for this calibre of restaurant , prices are fair. Go in with proper expectations and they may even be exceeded.
I was at this location this evening. The bartender Adam immediately greeted me and the Caesar I ordered was just what I needed.I was just stopping by to order some takeout for dinner.Zoe the manager and Kim the other bartender made my visit quick, easy and enjoyable. The food was amazing. Big thumbs up!
We were there tonight for a family dinner, all adults.There were a lot of parties, it was so loud. We could not talk, the restaurant would benefit from having some sort of divider between the dining room and Bar I think that this would help a lot with the noise levels.Our waitress took our order and then did not come back. The bar staff that kept assisting us, Ashleigh was the bartender's name and she was amazing! If there is a way, try to be seated in the bar and have Ashleigh and her cobartender look after you. They were both very very helpful and made the experience as good as could be. Ashleigh should be commended. They are the only reason I tipped.Of our party of 6 half of us had cold food that had to be sent back. The bread arrived and they brought 2 loaves for the entire table, which was fine. But they also only brought 3 margarine........It was so noisy we could not carry on a conversation. This is not their fault, it was the poor design for managing noise, and the poor food quality/temperature and the fact that we never saw our server.EDIT: Just spoke to Zoe, she was extremely helpful. We discussed the entire situation. She listened to what happened, and really wanted to understand what had happened so as to make sure it doesn't happen again. She apologized for the issues and was very concerned about how best to resolve things. I was really impressed with the follow up, and the genuine desire to make things better in the future. I look forward to going back and giving them another chance.As such I will be revising my rating, in anticipation of a better experience during my next visit. I will update this review after my next visit and hope to be able to make it a 5* review at that time.

Don't waste your time at this place. Tried to take our family for dinner tonight at 7pm with 3 hungry kids. The restaurant was empty and apparently it was going to be a bit of a wait because the number of servers. Literally there was 25 empty tables and not a soul in line. What a joke, learn how to manage a restaurant.We went to Jack Astors who was quite busy and they had no problem getting us a table. I will happily give them my money and will not ever give a cent to East Sides again.
If I could rate 0 stars I would… poor management and customer service. We made a reservation for 3 families for lunch. Once we arrived were told that they could not accommodate our three families because “they only had 2 servers”. However new customers had been seated.Feeling frustrated we placed a reservation for dinner hour. When we returned for our dinner reservation we were turned away again stating that we must wait another hour… we never returned.

SUCH A GROSS EXPERIENCE!! I was on a trip to barrie this weekend and I had ordered from this place. When I tell you I couldn’t eat the food not only because of how it looked but because it was a risk to my health. The pasta wasn’t cooked, the sauce smelt off, and the chicken we had gotten was completely raw in the middle! For 80+ dollars go somewhere much more fancy, such a rip off.
