When I was paying for my food, I had the pleasure of meeting a delightful young man named Wesley! he made my experience so much better and I will definitely be coming again! He needs a raise!
We have been good customers of Dragon Wok for some years now. The food is excellent and in some cases it is BETTER than Mandarin. And until yesterday service was pretty good. It must have been a really bad day. First of all we couldn't get through on the phone to place an order. So I had to go in person. The last item on my list was the egg foo young but when I tried to order it, I was subjected to a loud tirade from the back kitchen complete with arm waving and shouting. I was made to feel that I had asked for something totally unreasonable!!! The item is on the menu! If it was not available, then the courteous thing would have been for the person on the front counter to explain that to me. To add insult to injury, I had to wait more than an hour for my food. I doubt that I will be back to purchase food here in the future, in spite of the excellence of the food.C. Mitchell
Love the food. Their lunch specials are amazing portions! Whenever I am in the city, I definitely stop by.
Has always been our go to Chinese food but this time very disappointing. The food was all soggy and overcooked and some inedible. We usually enjoy our food from here and we will probably give it one more chance. Hopefully it will be a lot better. If not we will find another place instead!
They remember our order as we do have allergy restrictions. Food is always good and they are friendly on the phone when ordering.
Have ordered there on several occasions, picked up order and realized one item was missing so called them, the young man on phone was very nice but I could hear the lady that packs the food yelling and saying it's in the bag, well it surely wasn't and they staple the bags so obviously she didn't put it in , blame the customer of course, terrible way to act, poor customer service, hope the 10 dollars you gained was worth this review you got
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. I placed an order for take out at 510pm. At the time of placing the order, we were notified that there would be a 3hr and 20min wait, resulting in a pickup time of 830pm. We arranged to accommodate said timeframe and planned for the delay in dinner. At 810pm, they called to notify us that they needed to delay our order by another hour and a half. When I explained that we were already on route, as we live out of town, they said "there is nothing we can do for you besides cancel your order". When I asked to speak with the manager that was working, I was told that the manager was too busy and would not speak with me on the phone. They even refused to provide me with the manager's name to call back at a later time. They waited until 20 minutes before my pick up time to notify me, and did not make any attempts to accommodate or rectify the situation, besides allowing me to cancel my order that I had already been waiting 3 hours for. Had they have called me an hour earlier, and apologized for the inconvenience/back log I would have been much more understanding - after it all, we didn't even get an apology. Needless to say, moving forward they will not get our business again. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
People were rude, paid 16 $ for a combo meal and it came with 99% celery… 4 pieces of beef and they said that’s ok and they wouldn’t do anything about it.. total order came to over $40 and they skimped on the actual meal part.
Food is good. Prices are decent. Best Chinese we've found in Barrie since we moved here last year. The general Tao chicken could be a little spicier, but it's not a deal breaker. Food has always been hot and fresh. It's our go to Chinese takeout in Barrie.
Excellent food, really great value. They're super fast if you pick up. Recommend Combination#10 and the hot and sour soup.
