A kids meal that doesn’t include a drink seems foolish, the pictures on the kid’s menu showed the drink. Charging $2.99 for cheese on a child’s $9.99 burger and fry is ridiculous, 30% markup is a rip-off.But all their burgers and fries did taste good.The Tacos should be dropped from their menu, the meat is dry, the taco is essentially unseasoned and flavourless. No salsa but a bland coleslaw. If you’re wanting a Taco go to Jey’s Burrito next door.The peppercorn burger was good.Service was excellent, but we should have hit Jey’s Burrito next door!
I ordered 3 burgers from here with fries and one with a garden salad. The fries were descent but the small boxes were only half full. The burger was terrible. Meat had a strange flavour. Very greasy. The garden salad was not good at all. Lettuce tasted like grass. All around terrible experience considering the 3 burgers was almost $55.00
This cute little place. Many people have told me that I have to try it. Today I was beyond disappointed by the service.Things were missed, repeatedly ignored to get a refill.Turned the open sign off at seven... The place closes at eight.Refused to make desserts at seven twenty because they closed the kitchen.
They advertise the best burger in Barrie. I have eaten at a large number of places who have made that claim, and every time I have been disappointed.This one may be telling the truth.Homemade patties, brioche buns just a trifle larger than the burger, making a great ratio, as well as standard toppings made this a 3-napkin burger, but it was juicy, not greasy.If there's a better burger in town, I haven't found it yet.
best breakfast ever but why would you habdle the platter sideway ? so all the stuff get tossed in the corber of the take out box...lol... and then the other lady give back my change 4$ short. no sorrybi meant she tossed it on the counter and left without eye contact no thanks no bye no have a good day. im a business owner and if i owner this place i would be so ashamed by that kind of behavior
Loved the food, but was pricey...Exact same breakfast at Flapjacks is $30.00 less and same great food! Hence only 4 stars..if was reasonable, would be a five star for sure!
I haven’t actually never been to the restaurant but ordered food many time over skip the dishes, each time food has been great! I just placed a order this morning as I am ill and wanted some soup, they went above and beyond thank you ❤️
2022 May: 4/5-Steak sandwich: 3/5 - many tough parts throughout the steak-Fries 4.5/5 - really good fries, just need gravy...warm, spiced perfectly, delicious!-Canoe burger: 5/5 - delicious, tasty, spiced well, a really good burger! Will return for this and the fries!
Your staff does not seem to understand that SkipTheDishes drivers are current or potential customers. I have visited your restaurant in the past with my mother and had a nice lunch multiple times. After the treatment I received today as a Skip courier I will not be back. Three servers walked right passed me with no acknowledgement, eventually one of the servers walked up and just stared at me until I said the order number, when she returned she dropped the order on the counter and just walked away. Not a single pleasantrie the entire time.
Service was good, price was good. Nothing spectacular about this place. I had the Salmon Benedict, that turns out to be some concoction of puréed fish patty, as if from a can, that they put on the grill. The hollandaise sauce was good enough. I recommend only because the price is reasonable. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu so I definitely would consider giving them another chance.
