Best spot to meet the next man of the Foo, who you do not know. Ask his name before asking if he is because it's not who he looks like, rather Who He is. And do they know him?
My boyfriend and I have enjoyed A&W for years as a few years ago he showed me the Mozza Burger and we both loved it! For a few years we avoided coming to this location as a friend had told us some questionable things about the restaurants cleanliness. But at one point during the pandemic we bit the bullet and decided to try it. Didn't seem too bad and was on par with the others we had visited.Over the last year though the experience has been quite different. In the past year the prices have increased drastically to the point where I don't even think they are fast food prices anymore. Onion Rings aren't even a combo food anymore!!! With that there has also been many mess ups with the orders, between forgetting a whole food item or simply forgetting that we asked for extra seasoning it can be very defeating. The amount of times we have had watered down apple juice is absurd. Through all this however the staff has always been at least somewhat friendly and never rude.Today however was the last straw. We went through the Drive-Thru as always, a woman took our order and we drove up to the window. I'm not sure if at 12:53pm Kendra just wasn't having a good day but that shouldn't be relayed to the customer. After I said Hello she simply handed me the machine not saying anything, I then gestured to put my card back into my wallet only to find her shoving the drinks in my face, so I said "Oh, Sorry" and put my wallet in my lap for the time being so I could take the drinks. After I took them she then proceeded to slam the Drive-Thru window. Then came back to the window 2 minutes later and handed us our bag of food. After I grabbed the food I said "Thank- You" but that was also rudely interrupted with her slamming the window again!!! Not a word of acknowledgement that I was even there the entire time.I would rather have an automated service than be treated like that. For something of the same price and more consistent quality I'll be spending my money at something like Burger Priest from now on.
My Papa burger was overcooked and tasted stale. Must have been left overs from the night before. What quality control??Good thing is that I am now forever off A&W burgers!!!
Made a big order, no issues with it. They got it right!Food was good for fast food. Will be back.
Ordered sweet potato fries and chicken fingers(yum) it's to bad they weren't g.f but they were yummy. Had a root beer to drink. My son had a teen burger and fries with a root beer too! Not a speck of leftovers .
Drive Through attendant was kinda Rude... I just wanted a quick lunch. Ordered a burger.... $8 plus the cheese . By the time I paid was $16 !!! And all with an Attitude. No Thanks !! I have Options....
Went here twice the first time i backed out of the drive threw after waiting for 18 minutes the 2nd time i couldnt back out because someone was behind me lol but from the time i pulled in till the time i got my food was 27 minutes always takes forever here the food was good though dont get me wrong but your gonna wait forever for it.
amazing place love to go there as much as i can, most nights i deal with a red head young man when i come through he goes above and beyond with his job and it makes coming here so nice, amazing poutine also.
Hit or miss, I only order the Beyond burger here and I find it's sometimes slightly undercooked or sometimes seems like it sat in the cvap a bit long. Staff is friendly though and when it's done right it's one of the best veggie burgers around.
The service was horrible. The young man behind the counter was very rude and flipped. We had to go inside for our meal because the drive thru was blocked off. My husband nice and politely asked about the chicken and before he could even get the words out of his mouth the employee had put in that he wanted a chubby chicken burgerwhich he did not want. What he wanted was the chicken pieces that they used to carry. He was abruptly told that they carry them for the past 7 years. My husband decided to go with the.momma burgr so the employee said the regular one or the 56 when I asked what was the difference was he told us nothing. When we got home both burgers looked the same. This experience was not a good one and turned us off of our dinner.
