A nice place for a hot meal that gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling. Comfort food I guess is how I'd explain it. Wife and I had the braised chicken and braised beef with rice. Both absolutely flavourful and with a good amount of meat. Can choosec different spice levels as well. Rice that it comes with is a slightly larger portion than you get at most Chinese restaurants too, so that's a plus!
Service is good, but not all the foods is tasty, fried tofu taste is fine but too hard without crispy, chicken hand-pull noodle is good, the salty taste of salty popcorn chicken not enough and the given sauce also too few, and new menu sour fish soup with rice(forgot name) the fish smelly taste little bit too strong and soup also little bit too few, but taste still ok. Finally it's still a good place to try.
I ordered the chicken with noodles. The chicken was overcooked and dry, not juicy at all! I think they had been keeping the cooked chicken for a long time! Green peppers are raw... The noodles were not "Q"! Also, TOO MUCH MSG!! My family drank ton of water after eating this dinner! My son cried and woke up at midnight asking for water!
Delicious and tender chicken. The flavours are rich, but not overly salty. Don't overdo the spiciness!
My buddy introduced me to this little hidden gem a few weeks ago. He had thier apparently famous Braised Chicken & Rice I had the Braised Beef with hand pulled noodles and I have to say ot was an absolute delight, full of rich flavors and cooked to perfection! At about $12/person (before toppings) its a great value as each of thier servings could easily feed 2 people. I went myself last monday and it wasn't busy at all as I chatted with the friendly hostess and the clean modern layout with an open kitchen design felt really nice. Enjoy!
Tender boneless chicken with good portion and spice level of your choice. However dislike the undercooked/raw red and green peppers add ons. Also it's the same type of chicken dish for either the rice or noodle options.
Came to this restaurant a few times already. The best choice if I want a simple dish with rice or noodles. The quantity is enough. There are different spicy levels for people who want richer taste.
The value, taste, freshness, portions and consistency of this place is amazing. For such an affordable price you get a very decent size of chicken with rice.After ordering multiple times from this place, they have never failed to deliver the same consistent flavour and portions!I highly recommend this place
Tried today it's Braised Beef with Hand-pulled noodles, medium spicy, all because of the beautifully pictured poster at its front door. The best thing is that the sauce and the beef over the noodles were hot enough and pretty tasty . But the noodles were not hot enough, barely warm. Besides the noodles were not 'Q' enough so I don't believe it was freshly made when ordered.
