The best of the best. I’ve been in the area often the last couple of months and each time I have to stop in here for a chicken shawarma pita. I’ve tried many places but this place is the best and they are so fast!
Not impressed at all. Was excited to see the previous ratings and was looking forward to trying Shawarma Land. Chicken Shawarma was already in a dish vs being cut fresh. It was overcooked and oily and lacked taste. We had it over the rice where I felt the rice were dry. We also tried falafel which I felt were too soft and lacked the crispness/ true middle eastern flavor. Portion size were generous. Staff was very friendly and courteous full marks there. For me as I said- was not impressed with food taste.
I didn't go there on purpose, we were just driving on Yonge street discussing what we will order for dinner and I just noticed this place. I pointed my finger towards it and said "let's try this". What a lucky guess it was. Great food, falafels were crispy and not soaked in oil. Meat was spicy, hummus was one of the best I had. Great garlic and hot saucees too. And everything priced reasonably. Did I mention the size of the wrap? There is only one place in the neighborhood serving bigger wraps, but they are not as tasty.
So amazing! Shawarma poutine (hand for size comparison) and chicken shawarma wrap. Worth the wait. Will definitely be back!

This is my favourite restaurant, hands down! I would take this over a fancy steakhouse any day. Their platters (all of them!) are mind blowing. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
The best shawarma in all on the GTA!! The portions are huge. Enough to have it for several meals. Will likely be a line up every time you go, but trust me, its worth the wait. It’s also amazing watch the two guys up front work! They’re so fast and accurate. And their hummus is the best I’ve ever had! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!
Amazing food and service! The rice soft and moist while the meat so tender. We took box to go and it came warm, perfection! The portion is super huge, you definitely can share.
This restaurant is small but provides the best quality of shawarma I ever had. Everything made fresh so it takes time but once you see the employees work. They prep your meal fast and with urgency. The employees are to be respected with how much effort they put in. If I could I would rate this establishment 10 stars
Amazing food! Waited 15 minutes outside in -40.degree weather and would happily do it again. The staff work so hard and so fast and the best part is they are accurate with your orders!! Delicious fresh ingredients. Best in the newmarket area.
