All the food is great, but I will make the BOLD statement that they have the best veal sandwich north of Claremont St.!!! (I'm referring to the original California's). Yes, I know they made the controversial decision to use a "long" bun and not round, but the bun itself hangs with the best. In general, no matter what the dish, they're not simply preparing the food, but it's like they just know how to make it right.

Friendly service; however the prices are exorbitant for mediocre pasta and the sauce is watered down. Rigatoni alla vodka is $18.95! The cheapest pasta with watered down vodka rose sauce is $18.95 plus tax. Rose sauce in the jar from the grocery store would be better. If you’re looking for quality Italian pasta I’d highly recommend Ricci’s in Woodbridge. Large portions, quality pasta for $12. They also offer agnolotti, ravioli and tortellini, which are unavailable at Piazza.

Absolutely delicious, the caesar dressing was so good. Definitely will be back!

As a big fan of small food establishments and a frequent visitor to Aurora in recent years, I was very happy to come across Piazza Mercato. Initially, I was greeted by Franca, who happened to be the owner. She was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a veal sandwich with all the toppings and also was offered to try their slice of the day with pop. That day they had Calabrese pizza which was an excellent appetizer to the veal sandwich. Both pizza slice and the veal sandwich were very fulfilling and delicious. Hands down, this establishment is one of the Aurora’s best for its uniqueness and outstanding quality that definitely deserves a 5-Star Rating! Thank you to everyone at Piazza Mercato a for superb customer service and a welcoming atmosphere!

Amazing Pizza. Ordered a few different pizzas for a family gathering. They were all amazing. Great ingredients, and so well made. The portions are very generous as well. There was no delay in pick up, food was ready exactly when they said. HIGHLY recommend.

Tonight my boyfriend and I decided to try the Thursday night take out special at Piazza Italian Eatery. Mercato which includes a large pizza of your choice (we chose the sausage and rapini) 1lb of wings ( we got the garlic and parm ones) a small Caesar salad, garlic bread and 2 soft drinks for $29.95. What a treat! The wood oven pizza crust is the perfect amount of crisp and the flavours were delicious, the wings are the star of this meal though… so crispy on the outside and full of meat on the inside and the sauce was over the top! Both the salad and garlic bread were a nice touch. Great value and portions (I have enough for lunch tomorrow) I would definitely recommend and will be back myself. Great Thursday promotion and great value!

Thank you to Franca and your staff for such a terrific dining experience. We took it home and savoured the flavours for some time, and had plenty of left overs for tomorrow. The charcuterie board is amazing and was simply delicious. Great service, great food... what more is there to say.

The penne vodka is the absolute worst. We ordered through Uber eats and it was like someone forgot to drain the pasta and just added sauce. It was so watery. It didn’t even have anything else in the sauce. Just an orange pinky water sliding right of the penne. Our pizza arrived cold and they put maybe (and I’m being generous) 2 whole slices of prosciutto on the entire pizza. The chicken parm panino tasted like nothing. Literally so bland. Even my 4 and 6 year old said it was the worst Italian food they ever had. No one ate a thing and it was the worst way to spend $100 bucks. Sorry guys but you need help in the kitchen.

Ordered through Uber eats tonight and was so disappointed. The pizza arrived cold- okay fine probably the drivers fault. However we opened it and it had about 2 pieces of prosciutto on the entire pizza (that’s me being generous). Also the penne vodka was like someone forgot to drain the pasta water and just added sauce to that. It was soooooo watery I couldn’t believe it. The chicken parm panino literally tasted like nothing and no I don’t have covid. My 4 and 6 year old asked for salt. Really disappointing. Not a great way to spend 100 bucks for dinner.

The food was absolutely incredible! The staff was extremely kind and made sure I left with an above par experience. So happy this authentic Italian eatery has decided to do business in Aurora. The groceries they offer are amazing as well. Going to buy a ton of their truffle products...so get there before I do!
