Nice small restaurant, the menu is conveniently placed on the table, under a thick piece of plastic. The shrimp wontons and dace fish balls had great flavor. The soup was good but could have been more concentrated. I got rice noodles but for some reason they were pretty much shredded, I didn't find a noodle longer than 7 cm in my bowl... I would eat here again but hope the noodles are done properly next time.Update: went back another time, noodles are much better this time.Interestingly, there's a F45 gym beside the store. You can hear the loud bass coming from the other side of the wall along with the restaurants own music.
Small, focused menu. Ingredients are fresh, and dishes are crafted with skill and dedication. My go-to order is a bowl of noodles, and a side order of vegetables (with oyster sauce). If you're feeling bold, add a tiny spoonful of their aromatic house chilly oil.
Aurora location - Fantastic experience. Would come here for every meal to eat wonton noodle soup with extra dumplings. Snappy and al dente. Authentic flavor and texture. Hesitant originally, concerned place was overpriced fusion. Well worth the money. Brisket was delicious, as well. I dare say this restaurant gives King's Noodle House a run for their money. They don't have as wide a selection but if or the noodle soups they serve, top notch. I'm getting repetitive. Go and eat some soup!
The wonton noodle soup is good. The fried wonton is good, though expensive $13 for 6 pieces). The beef brisket was chewy. Soup is very tasty though.
This place is a gem! Lucky for me I live and work very close. Owners are lovely. Food is made with amazing flavors and perfect consistency each time. I enjoy sitting by kitchen to chat with staff and ask questions on how they cook their food so delicious. Choy Sum and shrimp won ton soup with egg noodles and spicy chili is my family's favorite. They follow protocols and genuinely welcome you into their spot to enjoy a warm meal. It's a must try if you haven't been. ?
Ordered over the phone for pick up. Food was ready very quickly the restaurant was nice inside and clean. They do not take credit. Cash or debit only. (I wish they mentioned this while ordering). I got dumpling noodle soup. Huge portion for a decent price. There was three dumplings but they were huge. The broth was pretty “fishy” but that also may have been due to the shrimp in the dumplings. I did enjoy my meal and would try other items on the menu.
Really good wonton soup, the broth is clear, and the wonton pieces are huge! The service was quick and the prices are unbelievably good.They also had home-made chill oil for sale. My partner bought one jar since their chill oil is delicious!
Very good and inexpensive eat. Crispy noodle, tender beef brisket, big wanton with big shrimps. Definitely a winner.
So glad we finally have a wonton place in Newmarket/Aurora. Service is quick, both is clear and flavorful, wonton is huge and full of shrimps, what is not to like? Love love love!!
