Simply, don't come here, especially when it's busy. You'd think it'd be difficult to mess up a simple coffee order but they somehow did it. My drink order was missing a good amount of coffee (my coffee didn't reach the top of the cup, they filled it up with an inch missing from the top). Avoid this place if possible.
This franchise has been here awhile. It must have kept some original employees as it's the most reliable Tim Hortons.Of course The Pandemic and recent power outage has changed things, but I still give them a 5 star!
I arrived at Tim hortons because I wanted to buy myself something for lunch given that I worked the night shift, Come to realize both doors are closed. I'm confused because the location says open and I see there are 3 people sitting inside.... One guy in a white shirt on the computer by the window, 1 female with long Brown hair no mask and an older gentleman with her no mask. I called the store the manager picks up I asked if the store if the store is open he replies yes and I'm like oh but the door is locked he replies oh seeming shocked and told me to hold on alright ..... Mean I'm thinking I'm going to be let in because I see an employee female walking towards the door she unlocks it and lets out that female customer and the older gentleman customer she locks the door and goes back to whatever she was doing cleaning. while looking in the store, the manager with his mask down taking his time comes back on the phone and then tells me oh sorry we're closed because we're short staffed and I'm like so you're only catering to Drive-through customers and he said yes sorry no dine in serve, sorry they can't be a service. Meanwhile I'm the only one standing outside wanting a vanilla Iced coffee ... Anywho If that's the case why don't you notify potential customers and put a sign on the door stating drive-through only! You guys have paper and pen, who just locks the doors to their store and says nothing?? Such a big inconvenience !!!
miserable staff, miserable service. staff are condescending when they mess up your order and you ask them to fix their mistakes. Stop hiring random 15 year olds off the street that have no concept of customer service or quality of work. negative 1 star if that was possible, every time i go to this tims i wait 20 minutes in line only to leave the store more miserable than i came. also the donuts look like garbage, train your bakers.
TERRIBLE drive thru service!!! ALWAYS a HUGE line, as the staff barely move. Forget going there on your break. You'll spend the whole time in line and still won't get your order taken. Evening isn't any better, plus low supplies after 4pm. :(
I don't know whether anyone from this Tim Hortons ever reads these reviews but if you guys were serious about having a successful business, you really need to do something about the guys pestering customers for money at drive-thru!!. There's one particular guy in his 20s or 30s who has been doing this for well OVER A YEAR!. He's usually got his rear end parked on the sidewalk beside the drive-thru. You can't reach the window without the guy blowing his cigarette smoke in your face and asking for money. Today he was walking up the drive-thru and knocking on each car window asking for money. I've seen him get into arguments with customers as well. The irony of the whole situation is that he sits below a sign that says "Now hiring" and yet he's out begging for money. He's also not the only guy who frequents this spot for begging. He would probably go away if people stopped giving him money. So I blame them as well..
Akeela (not sure of the spelling) renewed my faith in humanity. My son was having a really rough day and I had asked him if there was something that could cheer him up. He said a “s’mores” donut so I set out to get him some and no-one had any anywhere in the area.I called and asked if the Harwood Tim’s had any and like the others, they were sold out and wouldn’t be making more until the morning.I explained the reason why I wanted it and She was so kind and made it for my son. What a gesture of kindness. I am a loyal customer of that Tim’s from now on. (Even though it’s farther away, after that gesture)
they need to decide whether or not they do delivery. they turn on uber eats and skip the dishes as they please. it seems many of the Tim Hortons in Ajax do this and then dont care to remove their restaurant from the app. This creates confusion as also this and many other Tim Hortons in the area dont update their availability for delivery so places like this that not longer deliver are listed not only in Skip and Uber but they also seem to have forgotten to change their delivery status on Google. As a customer who has been ordering all throughout the pandemic and prior to, I have always had issue with my order being incorrect, the drinks being poorly made, rudeness and irritability from staff, and lack of enforcement of Covid proceedures even. I ultimately think this is my last attempt to even bother to bring any sort of issue up to their notice as Ill no longer partake in this declining brand. Its not even Canadian anymore, if it was id at least try to stick it out but since it was bought out the whole company has gone to waste.
I have video of that incident! My husband was ordering drive thru and one rude sleepy inattentive female employee was taking the order , she completed the order taking when my husband was more order to place and as we had a survey code for one dollar French vanilla we wanted to use that she that employee replied you should know what’s survey what’s points card. ! My husband wasn’t talking about points card at all . She started accusing he doesn’t understand what he wants then without any reason she said I am not gonna serve you ! Never faced this kind behaviour before then when we were passing the window of drive thru we saw there was two black lady serving and they was laughing with each other! Like they enjoyed whatever happened! It was on 17th April Easter Sunday at 9:28 pm exact time if you can check camera you can. I wanted to upload that video but no option to upload video never want to visit again
The worst tim hortons!I don’t usually give a negative review but I was using the drive thru around 4 pm thursday mar 10 2022 firstly, the lady ( brown small height)was super slow I couldn’t hear her while she was taking the order and then when I couldn’t make my order I planned to go to window to ask for coffee. She was getting mad coz she took the wrong order and had to make coffee again. Then when I tried to scan the app it went through I was asking her to get the debit machine she literally YELLED at me. I don’t know who gave her right to do that. If you are in no mood to work please don’t come to work. I would appreciate if this complaint can be noticed by the manager.
