I’ve been going here for a while, and it’s not even the greatest place. I order 6 doubles with no pepper. I repeated this to the worker atleast 2 times. I get home, go to eat one, and all of them have a ton of pepper on them.Also Whenever I order from Taste of T&T they say it’ll be 15 minutes, whenever i get there it is still not ready and then i have to wait 20 extra minutes. Horrible Service, and rude workers!
I won't be going back. The 2 young girls working there were friendly but the old guy who they call "uncle", this guy is so rude and useless. I purchased goat and chicken curry but was told roti would be 15min. So I went back 20min later, it was ready but I had to wait until "uncle" was ready to serve me. There was one person before and one person after me complained about placing an order for 1pm pickup and at 2:15pm they were still waiting. Let me say, while the service was awful, the food wasn't good either. And somehow this place is busy.
I ordered the curried chicken n rice. The chicken had no taste at all and no gravy. It taste like boiled chicken with no salt. I also had the doubles what a disappointment in taste. Chana was watery and hard and bara wasn’t right. The price is too high for that quality.
The food here is outstanding. The taste is amazing. I travel fro Belleville just for the great curry and roti!!!!
Paratha is so fresh. They give you alot for ýour dollar.
Try this place recommend by a friend but disappointed with the goat curry. They use beef for their goat curry. I know the taste of goat the smell of goat so please don’t claim it’s goat curry ! Otherwise the plain Rotti is ok.
This place use to be one of my favorite places for Roti. This place however has been going downhill for the past few months but today's experience is the worst. Dinner rush wanted Chicken roti but they had NO potatoes!! How are you a Roti shop with NO potatoes...decided to change and get Doubles but they had none of those either. Will not be back there again
Food is pretty clutch. The partha is so good some of the best I ever have. I saw people complain that the workers aren't "friendly" , let me just say you don't go to a carribean restaurant for customer service. If you're at a Caribbean restaurant and they're friendly it'll be trash. Taste of t &t is legit the curry is good, roti is great. One of my favorite places
Great food nice ppl always leaves me satisfied...Beat rotti and doubles hands down.
I got the doubles from here, and ordered it with pepper and tamarind. It was really good, and yeah I would go back again (but I still think Drupati‘s in Ajax serves the best!) The place has a lunch time rush, so I’m excited to see how their other food items taste.
