I am very glad to have come across Rowdy Chicken in Ajax! I was expecting this place to be another halal fried chicken joint but was totally amazed by the quality of food! Chicken was so tender that it almost melted in mine and my family’s mouth. I have two little ones and they are really picky eaters. They devoured the chicken and fries within minutes! Staff and the owner are totally friendly and took the time to explain where they get their halal meat from. We as consumers really need to value and promote these type of businesses that go an extra mile to ensure quality is not compromised just for few extra $$$. My honest gratitude to the staff for being so customer focused. I would highly recommend this place.
SOOOO GOOD!!!We ordered 2 family meals + some chicken wings! Got the hot honey chicken and regular for the kids. Also got rowdy rub for the wings, and curly fries. The price was a little bit more than the usual chicken play we go to, but SOO worth it and their pieces are bigger than the others. Their customer service was also great and super helpful. I would definitely order again and try some of their mouth watering flavours!!Was too excited to eat them, I only took 1 picture lolThank you!!
Had Rowdy Bird tonight with five of my friends.We had just finished a soccer game and we’re starving. Tried the big rowdy chicken sandwich with curly fries and a drink it was amazing. Are my friend had a Wrap and it was so big he couldn’t finish it. The only negative thing I could say was they didn’t allow us to eat inside. We had to eat in the car. The lady in the front super friendly. We will definitely be back after our next game to try more things.If I could give it a 10 star I would!!!!!!!! Definitely the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time.!!!!
This place is absolutely awesome for fried chicken. Probably one of the best I have ever had. At times it can be a bit too salty, but that is more of the exception. Their tenders in their signature dry rub is definitely a must try. Great customer service as well

Fresh food every time I go. They make it to order. My go to is the chicken tenders, honey wings and poutine. The customer service is great, the manager is always around and makes sure we are never waiting too long. My kids love this place and always ask for it
I was never really a big fan of chicken but trying Rowdy Bird made me fall in love with it! Fried to perfection, with tasty crumbs and outstanding sauces, Rowdy Bird’s juicy chicken is to die for! If you like spicy, ask for some specialty spicy sauce on the side… it made my eyes tear! (whereas “hot” sauces from other places are a walk in the park for me). Curly fries are also phenomenal! I just wish they had more locations around the city. Highly recommend! AAA+
Let me start off by saying I have been to the other rowdy locations specifically the Scarborough location but this location in Ajax stands apart the customer service by the girls there are fantastic especially kariema ( my apologies I hope I got the spelling right) the chicken wings here are to die for amazing dry rub I tried the rowdy rub and the lemon and pepper rub. I can’t believe I’m saying this but as delicious and incredible the wings are what stole the show was the mashed potato with gravy you will feel in heaven when your taste buds try this. I can’t wait To come back again
This rowdy bird was worth the drive!!! It is the best location by far! The lady who works here is such an angel she gave me an extra drumstick since the other one looked small! She is so sweet and the food is amazing and great quality I recommend you come down here service is perfect, on time and food is fantastic! Also another thing is there are different seasonings and toppings that go on the chicken and I recommend a combo of their hot honey and rowdy rub!! The chicken is halal so you know it’s some good quality chicken!Get rowdy bird you will not regret it at the Ajax location.
When this location initially opened the experience was great - everything was piping hot, fresh and crispy. However recently each time we've ordered it's been a little disappointing. From forgetting the hot sauce, to less than fresh coleslaw to soggy chicken and fries. We use to order weekly but have chosen other spots as of late. Hoping the next time is better.
