Bad customer experience. Their online ordering system is not user friendly. I order something at 12:10. The system says pick up your order in 7 to 17 mins. Then when I get the a confirmation email and the email says it's going to be ready in 55 minutes at 1:05. I then tried to call the store but nobody answers. I then shift my lunch around to accommodate for the new pickup time, only to realize 10 minutes later that I get another text saying your order is ready to be picked up, and now I can't go for my lunch for another half hour, and then I'm picking up a cold meal. I then call the restaurant and the person says oh you'll have to take it up with doordash. Love the food but the service is horrible.
Called to place an order at 10pm. No one picked up the phone. Arrived at the store at 1010pm. Ordered food. Tried to order the beyond meat but was told they were closing soon and cleaned the grill. Got a falafel instead. Food was ok. Waited 15 minutes. While waiting in the store, the phone was ringing non stop and none of the 2 employees answered it. Somewhat disappointing experience.
Been a regular customer since they first came to Ajax, but will no longer frequent this location.I can look past inconsistent or poor quality food.Most of the time this location is good, but quality fluctuates based on the time of visit.Today’s experience, however, was the final straw for me.When collecting my order, I asked for 1 extra small takeout container.To which, the manager replied “I would have to charge you for that”.Normally I would be perfectly fine with this.I understand businesses have expenses and this business practice would help offset some of those extra expenses. No problem.HOWEVER, what frustrated me was knowing that this location has always cut corners for many years.For instance, if you go to any other Osmows and order Chicken on the Rocks, it comes with rice, chicken, garlic sauce, tahini sauce and spices.This is their brand’s standard.But of course, at this location they only give rice, chicken and garlic sauce (has been this way since they opened years ago).So today I decided to bring this up and challenge the manager.His response “we can give you those other ingredients too, if you request”.I thought, excuse me?Since when does the customer have to request each time for ingredients an item should already come with?Again, just one of many ways this restaurant cuts corners.And today, the extra charge imposed for a small takeout container (in context of how this location has always done bad business) was the final straw for me.An example of how the franchise model doesn’t work at times. Owners trying to squeeze an extra buck at the expense of unknowing consumers.Good luck to this location and hopefully they can turn things around.
Very bad customer service, I really had a frustrating experience. I wonder why they are not able to sell fresh cooked food even though customer is willing to wait? They have a good excuse to refuse there customers because they have only 30 minutes to close. Why are you open till 10pm; to serve leftovers only ??
Wraps were well prepared and made fresh with a lot of flavour. This Osmows has improved tremendously, from when they first started at this location. Before there were some harsh, and embarrassing days when I ordered here. Chicken was dry, wraps would be messy like if a 6 year old prepared it. It was BAD.. but this time around was great. Keep it up Osmows - Ajax, I would be ordering food here more often.
Well it's Valentine's Day, and the wife and I didn't feel like restaurants or cooking really. So there we were window shopping and I saw the beauty of what they call Mixed on The Rocks. Instantly I knew I had to try this. Never had shawarma or even that type of cultural food. When our order arrived and I felt the weight of the meal I knew, this was going to be absolutely what I was hoping for. Upon the first glance of the food mountain of beef and chicken topped with their garlic and tahini sauce and my added drool. Diving into this masterpiece of delights and flavors I took in the overwhelming feeling of satisfaction. I couldn't even finish the meal as I knew I didn't want this experience to end so I'm saving the rest for tomorrow. All in all, if you are like me who likes to be impressed with quantity and quality at a very reasonable price then take my word, just do it! Thanks for the delicious food Osmows!
Ordered the falafel sandwich and it tasted terrible.. the falafel tikki was dry and dense. I have tried the same sandwich once at their Toronto Queen’s outlet and that was very good but not this one. Dont plan to go to this place again.
The service and quality at your Brock rd North Pickering location has gone down substantially .
I had poutine from this. In first or two bites I didn’t noticed anything but after that I felt that fries was under cooked. It literally felt like I was eating raw potatoes. I was expecting more from you guys because I had poutine from GTA locations but never had disgusting experience like this. Obviously I did not ate that food because I don’t wanna get sick by eating raw fries.You lost one loyal customer today. Not coming back to this location ever again.
Food generally is alright. Some items have a required taste.
