Buy from this place all the time however yesterday placed my order the man ask me my name. I gave him my number because its would be easier for him to pull up the account. He stopped and said he can't find my name with that number he had nothing in the system. He then said is the reason why you want to give your number is because you want points? I said no I didn't even know I was getting points. However I called back the next day to order food and the lady asked my number as per usual and I I told her she pulled up my account and stated my name I said that's odd I gave my number yesterday and they said that number does not work . Today I placed my order and after telling the lady that I was there yesterday to order and what happened after she took my order and I told her I was already out side wait because she asked me if I needs more time. When I said I was already there I saw the.man that served me the day before come out and look then came out and stand in fort my car amd walk back in the ns later and ask the the person if they would be coming out with my order she said come in andnpay frist and when your hear you don't need to call in your order just come in. They did not make my order and they hung up the phone because I simply stated that the man yesterday told me that my number or account did not exist and if I was trying to get points. How very rude even if I was trying to get points and there company offers them.whats the problem I wonder how many points I have . I called back to file a report it turns out both individuals who conducted themselves like this are both mangers .
Almost a pound and a half of one of the best Rotis I have had. This was the Moday special, 2 chicken rotis for $16... what a deal.The kitchen is super clean and the chefs are on top of their game.Try the fussion eats there.. AWSOME
I really enjoyed their Jerk Chicken Roti, and ill be coming back to order more!!! Mona’s Roti have such an amazing selection of delicious Roti’s, all with plentiful veggie and meat choices. I am proud to say that my money was well spent for a such delicious, filling, and ready to eat meal for me to have!!!
This place is incredible! The customer service is 11/10. The food is amazing. I suggest a Curry chicken roti with potato and burn your face off pepper sauce. If you’re feeling more adventurous go with the goat and pumpkin instead. It’s wild.
1st time at this location and was happy to see a Mona's in Ajax. The three restaurants together is kinda confusing, but it makes sense if there is no sit down. I ordered the curry chicken roti the dal pouri and I have to say it was a pretty close second to the original Scarborough location.. the roti had the soft fluffy taste like you come to expect from Mona's. The curry chicken was a little salty for my taste. But plenty of chicken and not a lot of potato which is good. So yeah I'll be going back.
After 20 years, my roti spot closed down during covid. since then I have been looking for somewhere to fill that special taste and meal that i love. I am so happy i found out Mona was here close to me in ajax/pickering. now i can get the tastiest rotis any time! and some of the finest gyros too! all in the same spot! Always greeted with a smile and prepared hot and fresh and fast for you.. 10/10 keep it up !
Tried the chicken roti yesterday. Very bland……tasted like regular baked with potatoes and thank God for the little bit of pepper in it that gave it some type of taste. Today now…THE WORST experience Ever, I have been experiencing diarrhea from 7AM couldn’t go into work, projectile vomiting , head ache, chills & stomach ache. I definitely got food poisoning from this location. Very disappointing because I hear so much good things about Mona’s and this will never make me want to go there again.
Really nice location! They are friendly and quick with the food. If you ordering ahead look for Nick over the phone, he is really good and explains in details any questions or concerns you have. We felt appreciated when speaking to Nick on the phone. When we arrived to the store, same kind of friendliness and attentiveness. Thank you guys for making this experience ? great!
Just finished eating a curry chicken roti with pumpkin, tamarind and pepper sauce, absolutely delicious with a sweet and spicy kick. Great portion and well priced. Friendly staff , convenient on line ordering. Happy to have this place in Ajax. Looking forward to trying other menu items very soon.
Delicious!!! A nice twist in flavours I haven’t tasted in Ajax. The Soca wraps are great with a nice touch of spice. I’ll be back to tryout other menu items.Thanks again :)
