Let me start by saying this is my first and last trip to your establishment. Well let me start.The biryani had flavor but very disappointed in NO available options for this dish such as boneless or heat levels.The chicken was under cooked and rubbery with no flavor (couldn't eat the whole thing due to it being quite under cooked)Absolutely NO heat and a tad oily at the bottom.Beware folks who read this that there is nuts or seeds buried in the dish, breaking your teeth is a guarantee ?The dish is PREMADE and kept in a heated device for lord knows how long, unlike most if not all restaurants always make it fresh in front of you and give so many options during the making of your dish.It's really unfortunate that this place has made it to my list of places to avoid in Durham Region.If you follow my reviews as you can see I am in the top 5% of restaurant reviewers and because of some of my reviews I was able to close down some places due to bad food or lack of cleanliness or great customer service.This review only outlines a few thing's regarding the food, I didn't touch on cleanliness or customer service.During my visits I look for a multitude of different thing's and do so quickly and without prejudice and a very open mind.I do highly doubt the restaurant will contact me directly regarding the outlined issue's in the statement.I do hope they improve their practices. This place really has the most amazing chicken and beef rolls. Cant get enough of them.Make a phone call before you go there because sometimes panner rolls gets sold out quick.Only thing I don't like about this place is the timing. They close at 8. Being a South Asian quick bite food joint with most of the people eating there are South Asian or young people its too early to close. Most of us start looking for dinner options at or after the time they close.Don't miss place out if they are open, it's amazing.
Used to be an excellent place to grab a roll on the go. But now due to heavy demand and more orders, their quality has gone down. The Chicken Tika we got today was not fresh and flavourful, like how it used to be. I am a bit disappointed as this used to be my favorite spot.
The rolls are awesome. We've tried most of the options in the rolls and enjoyed them. We also had the kebab as stand alone and enjoyed them. We did however have a couple instances where we asked for milder rolls but were given spicy ones. Also noticed the chicken boti rolls portions have reduced over time. You are getting more filling than meat. Good overall.
Wraps tasted amazing, super satisfying and great portions. Once you make your order there is a 20 minute wait approximately because they are really busy, so just keep that in mind. Absolutely worth the wait!
I used to go here couple years ago but stopped because the paratha wraps weren't fresh and food was hit or miss. I just by chance tried it again recently and went 3 times in the past month or so and now the chicken paratha wraps are very fresh made. Very tasty ..order on call before going in ofcourse or you will have to wait 20-30 minutes .
Kandhar Kabob ran out of beef so I was forced to venture out to this spot. I’m seriously starting to think that all these Durham restaurants are leaving fake reviews! This place had me curious after the reviews but for anyone that knows flavor and Afghani food this spot will disappoint!After a long 20 minute wait both the beef kebabs, and Briyani chicken and Paratha was absolutely garbage! Not to mention a $22 bill… The chicken biryani was just entirely rice which is already premade and sits in a large storage area where they pull it out from… And the kebabs had no taste or flavor/seasoning…place is also not the cleanest. Disappointed
The kabab rolls (especially the Bihari kabab) is on point! Exceptional taste, always done right! Generous amount of meat in the rolls. Very filling!
Delicious food!! We got some rolls and kebab and the flavor was incredible.
Yummy beef and chicken kabab rolls... ??. Chicken biryani is also very tasty and flavor full.
