Got the mutton fries, mithi vedi sandwich, & gelato.The mutton fries were definitely yummy but pricy. There is a lot of meat forsure & i do think if they had an option to ad cheese and a garlic sauce it would be better. The sandwich was interesting to try but I wouldn’t repeat it. Gelato was great, i got the pistachio and will recommend it. One scoop is more than enough.
We ordered the steak sandwich and the tuna one. I saw a lot of influencers on Instagram hype this place and that’s the reason I came all the way from Markham to get a taste of it before my return.The sandwiches with fries are not worth the price at all.I like the gelato, for which I am giving the three stars. But with the sandwich I am disappointed.I am one of the customers who went to the house in 2017 to buy the sauces as it wasn’t available anywhere so easily at that time.
I always loved Ksira Gelato flavors. Everytime I visit Toronto, I need to have Ksira Gelato. This is the first time visiting the store. Tasted some flavors and settled on Lemon Puff and Nutella. Taste is out of this world. I wish they gave this in a slightly bigger cup, as gelato started melting and running on the side. Other than this slight change needed, everything is great ??
At 7 dollars per scoop you can try these amazing and unique flavours at Ksira. My personal favorites were the rose sherbert and Ceylon milk tea Gelatos. I also did get the passion fruit sorbet (not posted) but it was too sweet for my liking. I also missed out to try their popular flavour wattalapam as well. The milk tea flavour and the rose flavour comes off strong which I really liked. They also offered other menu options such drinks and grilled cheese sandwiches. Do check them out and take the opportunity to try out Srilankan flavored Gelatos.
We've been having ksira's gelato before they opened a store front, their flavours never disappoints! Yesterday we finally got a chance to visit the store and ordered their well known Mithi Vedi sandwhich and spinach and feta grilled cheese. Best consumed right away? Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
We recently visited this store based on friends recommendation but really disappointed. Items are really expensive for the portion they provide. We bought 3 different sandwiches price range is from 14 to 18. All you get is 2 toasted breads with filling of your choice and some fries. In my personal opinion that portion is only worth around 8 to 10$. The filling for "Mithi vedi" is frozen goat curry. Taste was the only positive think. For Gelato they have different variety. But again their portion is very small. Their small size is 7$, double 9.5, half pint 20$, full pint is 40$. Their half pint and full pint looks big from outside but inside the box volume is small. Those boxes are thick. I would recommend to get double size than pints. Again taste wise gelato is okay but don't get decieved by recommendations and look of the place. They even charged 2$ for take out boxes. For me overall it's looks a like cash grabbing place with fancy look. Most millennials visit here for Instagram posts.This is my point of view but definitely try this place .I hope owner make some modifications to their portions and stop cash grabbing mentality.
Recent visited this place after checking for dessert in our area. Small little store, big surprise. The gelato were great! Quite a bit of choices to choose from. Services was great, we tasted a few and it was tough to choose from since those we tasted were very good. Finally settled with the pistachio and the kids went with chocolate. One of the best we ever had. Nicely done, dense and rich. We went back later in the week for a box.
My whole family loves this place! The mushroom and cheese sandwich and the steak and cheese sandwich are phenomenal! SO GOOD. The gelato is the best I’ve ever had. I lost count on how many flavours I’ve tried. I wish they had a seating area, everyone’s eating in their cars aha. The place is so beautiful and prices are great too!
We had a phenomenal experience! The flavours are all unique and delicious. Service by Gabriel was outstanding. He truly went above and beyond to explain everything and insured we were satisfied. I also had the pleasure of trying a latte and as a coffee addict I have to say they have great beans. They are definitely are worth checking out.
The gelato is amazing, definitely a must try for those who haven't. Creamy mango and oreo were great.
