My brother found this place online. We decided to check it out. It’s very big inside and appeared to be a locals type pub.The menu was extensive which at first scared me as a restaurant trying to please everyone really pleases no one.I had the Mac n cheese and garlic loaf and my brother had the pulled pork and parents had a Reuben and a Montreal smoked meat sandwich.The prices were very reasonable and the older male server (who smelled like a movie star) brought me a refill without even having to ask. The best service.The food came all together and it was piping hot. The flavour was excellent and I tried my mothers Reuben and it was also very good. Everyone was happy.So I guess you can have a huge menu and have great food quality after all.I will return for sure!
I don’t normally rate places but today I found the need to, my family and I recently visited this restaurant usually I’d expect to be greeted with a worker helping us out but that was not the case they had only ONE person working who was really rude, we had to find our own tables and wait for the waitress which took more time than expected but we understood because they were quiet understaffed at the time when she finally visited our tables she had a snarky attitude at the time me and my sister were sitting at a different table than the others, the waitress got annoyed and said “Move to a different table, I don’t want to serve two different tables and clean them.” We were literally sitting one table apart. Moving on to the food, the food was displayed to be amazing but it wasn’t anything special, personally my eggs were not what I expected them to be. Half of the food they gave us did not have any taste, not only that but the bacon was overwhelmingly salty and dry which was not expected, we had an issue with cutlery as most of our forks and knives were dirty (which should not be the case in ANY working restaurant) Overall the service was not at all good and they should work on how they prepare food and how to speak to customers, will never visit again.
Kings Castle has one of the best breakfast I've had in a very long time! And the price point $3.99 is an obvious win. And customer service was impeccable. I definitely recommend this pub for their breakfast is on the weekend and even their lunch specials are amazing! ??
I have been to the King’s Castle several times. I enjoy the atmosphere and the food is very, very good with a great menu. I also love to see one of the server’s Meghan. She always greets us with a big smile and her cheerful personality keeps us coming back.
We had Kings Castle a week or so ago. Our meal was average. Nothing special but not bad either. Our waitress was extremely friendly! I will say the fries say fresh cut but I don't think they were which was a bit disappointing. The prices were fair. I ordered the reuben which was a bit on the smaller side but good overall! My husband said his burger was alright. A frozen burger but good for the price. We would probably return at some point.
We have been going here for many years and have always had good food and good service. We feel that the wings are great and that have a good selection of flavors.But the last time we went, the management had changed the rules around refills for the pop. It had always been free refills, but the last time we went we found out that they are charging for the refills. That would be ok if they said so right from the time we ordered, and if was not a glass of ice with very little pop in it.I know that its not a big deal, but there other places that we can go to, and we have now changed our go to place.I will check back in a few months to see if this policy has changed.
March 6th 2022. Went to this restaurant today to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The server was very pleasant professional and helped us with our food choices. The food was excellent Would definitely go there again. Thank you Kayla for making my daughter’s birthday dinner special. Darlene Crooks ?
Amazing,. Philly steak sandwich, wings, beer was all awesome. This hidden gem deserves more business and better publicity. Kelley is awesome. I had ranch with Parmesan and had it ranch separate. It was awesome!!!!
I stopped in for an absolutely fabulous chicken curry dinner. As always everything was so fresh and tasty. The pita was amazing. The portion was way too much for me to eat! Kelley and Kyle took great care. Their service was excellent! Yeah is your last name with the wiring at your first name of the wire and I thank you
We have a great time everytime we come here! Tim is so hospitable and funny, and everything on the menu is so delicious!
