Manager at front desk is rude, makes appointment to meet you does not show up, ignores your calls. Hotel is dirty most staff are rude and your never greeted when you enter. They lock the doors at 8:00pm so if your carrying stuff you must wait to be let which is ridiculous. Also they allow pets so you don’t really know if your bed has had a dirty hog in it, or you could be walking on a pee stained rug. No easy parking. Most unfriendly hotel I’ve ever been to.
This location is very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A little pricy for the location but overall was a nice stay.
We had a nice stay during bowling nationals. Beds were comfy. Front desk was really helpful and friendly. They saved our room for our late arrival at 3:30 a.m. because we had to drive from Winnipeg. Breakfast was yummy. I enjoyed the cappucinno. My daughter liked the waffle breakfast. The pool was nice and warm. The hotel was easy to find our way to Neb's fun world without using the 401. It was close to restaurants and stores. The only thing is the rooms need bigger garbarge cans. The addition of recycle bins would be super great as well. We had a lot of water bottles and other drink containers.
Dirty Hallways, rude front desk, mediocre breakfast, couldn't accommodate a noon checkout. Lots of hillbillies staying there. The room itself was a bit motel-like.I don't normally stay in these hotels because they are a little bit low-rent for me. This stay was a good reminder of why I have that policy.I'm a Bonvoy member that usually stays in Marriot-associated hotels. The difference between the two corporate cultures is startling.Bottom line: Meh. It's a Hilton. It is what it is.
I want to prefaces by saying that I did not actually stay here. I visited the Hilton Garden Inn when there was an event taking place one of their party rooms. I hope I need to stay here so that I can review the rooms as well. The Hilton Garden Inn is easy to find as it has a prominent presence in the neighborhood. One handed the highway is very close. On the other hand, there were not too many amenities nearby in terms of fast food. I only gave three stars for service because when my family and I walked in we will pretty much ignored. The staff were all focused on the reception desk. There was another small family there who was getting the appropriate service support. We had to go looking for the party room on our own and follow signs which seemed to have been set up for a different event.
I have tried contacting them regarding my upsetting experience last weekend (May7-May9). There were bugs in the shower so that I couldn’t even shower and I got bug bits from the bed along my legs.I stay at the Hilton all the time and this was disturbing. I would appreciate someone contacting me to remedy the awful experience.
Warm and welcoming staff, clean and nice rooms, wonderful restaurant. We stayed here for a hockey tournament. They were strict with no gathering in hallways or playing mini sticks which was completely fine. We were able to rent a conference room and hang in there. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is not very accommodating to hockey teams for tournament. (We booked rooms months in advance and they ended up splitting our team on multiple floors and the group was not together) Security comes around countless times and doesn't let you mingle in the hallways. Find another hotel if you have a hockey team and want to have a memorable weekend at the hotel with the team.
Renovated rooms and great service. The digital key was a nice surprise! We'll be back.
The staff was friendly, room upon arrival where clean and fresh. Dinning staff is incredible. Check when booking and upon arrival if there are hockey teams staying during your visit, It can get noisy. Not everyone is there for a hockey tournament and don't get me wrong I love hockey and I too coached. But we all know how excited everyone gets on a road trip lol. I would recommend this hotel.
