I ordered a large chicken corn soup and a beef with mushrooms. Instead I rd three small containers of corn starch soup no corn or chicken,oh no wait I did find a corn kernel don't know what happened to his buddies. Maybe they ran away with the chicken.As for the beef and mushrooms, and Iguess the cow ran away with the chicken and the corn to look for fresh mushrooms.
My go to comfort food. Good price, good taste, good value…serving size is great too
Hakka Pavillion Ajax has the best flavorful food. From chicken to beef, noodles rice vegetables... all the food in the menu is amazing. Live in Oshawa and drive to Ajax to pick up my food.
Never been so disappointed. Stopped for a quick lunch takeout Ordered Chilli Beef, which turned out more like boiled beef with onions, tasteless to the core. Felt like they either have hired someone who does not know how to cook or the Cook was having a bad day!!!!. First and last visit to this place!!
Terrible experience on all fronts - from the phone order, food quality (ordered previously and quality has declined) and order pickup. Ordered takeout 2 hours prior to pickup, and it wasn't ready until 20 minutes after. I understand dinner time is busy but don't tell me it will be ready in 5 minutes.
I used to order from this place here and there as it’s halal and local. But my experience today made me not want to return. I ordered 1 hour prior I coming and I was pretty definite my food would be ready…. So I came and there was a line outside as no space to stand inside, and it’s -15 out… but that’s fair as they haven’t created a warm standing place for customers and I’m not that picky. Why I’m giving this place a one star is because after waiting about another ten minutes in line in the cold I come inside and three other men come inside into a small tiny space as it is cold outside, but tbh that is not safe with Covid and neither did the lady working there say anything. Than when I said my order number the lady said my order is not ready and than immediately helped another person behind me. I tried to interrupt and ask how isn’t my order ready, but she didn’t give me Schumacher and the person behind was impatient. Than she let another person come in from outside and bud me. I was upset at this point and I told the lady if my order isn’t ready even though I ordered an hour ago I’m going to just leave because this is a joke as you clearly should hire more staff with this rush (Friday night). Than she finally said “no no, your order is ready” I was confused as she lied to me just two minutes ago and let two people bud me …I just took my food and not planning on returning as the server lied and didn’t have decency to be cautious of Covid protocols and they clearly are to cheap to hire more staff when they need it
First time here. Pickup. Worth every penny. Better than Hakka from Luckys in scarbs tbh lol! Ordered the combo F, Gn Tso/Noodles, wings and the L1 w gravy. Ah may zing.
Absolutely not worth.. Pad Thai had no taste, lots of oil and no taste.
Good serving sizes and selection. Cheese wontons are a must.
Rudest customer service I have ever encountered. I walked in and the lady snapped “phone number!” I said I didn’t place an order. “Well then call and place one!” I said umm no I’m here to take a catering menu for a birthday “WE DONT HAVE A CATERING MENU JUST TAKE A MENU AND LOOK WHAT YOU WANT AND ORDER FOR THAT MANY PEOPLE!” Wowwww!! So incredibly rude and just lost an order for 10 people.
