This location is great and I come all the way from Scarborough for it but today I wasn’t pleased with the service I received. Firstly, the lady at the cash seemed to be irritated like I was wasting her time however I already drove so far I wasn’t about to leave without my sub. I ordered a sub and was never asked what size I wanted, ok cool not a big deal so I went back to the cash and switched the size. Next I asked for my drink cup because I had specifically asked for a fountain pop like I always do, she proceeded to tell me I didn’t order a drink and that she didn’t hear me so now I’m just in disbelief because how could you have not heard me ask for a drink or even ask what size sub I want. She had a tattoo on both arms “1975” and “1976” I called and spoke with the “stand in manager” but I doubt she even cared either. If you don’t like your job, quit.
Okay!So may I just say this is the BEST sub I’ve ever had!! Hands down I will drive from Scarborough to Salem any day just for Firehouse Subs.My mom ordered the Medium (8”) Beef and cheddar brisket on whole wheat and I got the Large (12”) Club on a Sub on white.Both subs were loaded with meat and a decent amount of topping. I have not one thing to complain about & they gave us two pickles on the side (as requested).I could of ordered a sub to go home with. I haven’t been so happy with a meal in a very long time.My mom and I rounded up our totals and donated to the “Public safety organization” which was evidently posted / displayed in the store. I asked one of the reps in the store About the organization and he was very knowledgable.Thank you firehouse subs for an amazing lunch. We will surely be back- And very soon!P.s. My mom was so pleased she looked into opening a franchise but there was nothing available at the moment. I told her it didn’t hurt to try. Lol
OMG...It was my first time visiting. I ordered the 8 inch brisket and cheddar with BBQ sauce on the side and 2 pickles. We also ordered the 12 inch club sub. It was so much meat. What a foodie coma! They were so good....Subway does not even come close.The staff were friendly and the location was clean and had lots of seating.You gotta try them...I don't think I can go back to Subway.
The standards at this location have really slipped. During our visit the pop machine did not work, the sandwich bread was stale, they didn't put the toppings we requested on it, and the meat was not warmed up properly. Location used to be good but standards of truly slipped
Really disappointed. I had high expectations for Firehouse. Ordered 2 large subs for takeout, I had the steak and cheese. It's a short drive home. It was soggy, cold, and tasted really off. The size and the serving of meat and toppings were very generous. But it just wasn't good. Overrated. Felt sick to my stomach. Threw out more than half. Maybe just got a bad batch? I don't know, but I will not be back. ??
I’ve had two problems with this location now. The first time was when the restaurant was very busy they didn’t even toast our subs. And this time we ordered two subs on white bread and one of them was whole wheat. Not acceptable. Next time I will save $10 and just go to Subway

I really enjoy firehouse subs, this location does subs quite well. The only thing i would comment is that sometimes the sub is a little bit too soggy. It can be unappealing to eat at times, however this has happened only a handful of times.In terms of subs, you definitely need to have the new york steamer. Their steak and cheese are Ok.

This place is a great place to grab lunch. Introduced a few friends and colleagues to it and they all enjoyed it. Not as cheap like Subway but definitely a cut above.
