I've been eating here since I was a little girl and the food is amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and a wonderful staff has been serving me throughout the years . 10 out of 10 as far as I am concerned. ❣️
We ordered Friday April 1 around 5:45. The girl took our your, it was a good size order. We waited and hour then called back, the girl said it just went out. Another hour went by, I called again and I got a message saying they were closed. We never got the order, so the girl lied about it just going out. I don’t get it. We were regular customers over 20 plus years. I Never will order from here again. You just lost a loyal customer.
After waiting three times as long as told for takeout the szechuan chicken was obviously old and reheated with soggy batter and off-flavored chicken. Un- battered chicken in other dishes was also old and dry and those dishes lacked flavor. Even the steamed rice was old, dry and reheated. Most of the order was thrown out.

My family has been going to the Peking my whole life (for reference, I'm in my thirties). It's ALWAYS been great and we haven't changed our Chinese restaurant favorite in all that time. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is great. I will always recommend the Peking when it comes to Chinese food in Sydney!
Tasteless and very mushy. Ordered takeout and didn't get everything i ordered (but paid for). I ordered the special rice...it was mushy. There was a big clump of white rice in the middle..and it was slightly less than 1 cup for $14. Def not worth it. There were 3 less egg rolls then I ordered and paid for with no sauce. The person at the front didn't say hello or even talk to me. I walked in. They staired at me ...i said hi I'm here to pick up my take out order. They left look at a bag and said a price. I paid and they said it's that one over there. I picked it up and left. Not welcoming or friendly...the order was incomplete and the food was not good. They did clean the credit debit machine b4 i paid tho.
This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh and full of flavor, you get plenty of food for your money.
We had 3 combo meals and two sides for Take Out tonight, and it was absolutely delicious. Even in take out form. Best Chinese we’ve had in years. Highly recommend
