We ate at Flavor on the Water tonight. Except for a small error in our order our meals of steak and crab cakes after the wings app were delish. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away. We had drinks and dinner and there was entertainment that didn't overwhelm the space and we were able to enjoy the music and still have a conversation. The waitress was lovely and super apologetic about the error in our order. A lovely evening. We will be back.
This morning we ate at flavor downtown, one of the most beautiful waitresses I ever had. Breakfast was beautiful ??

I usually never write a review but our Anniversary Dinner was not the wonderful experience that we are used to having at your restaurant.Our original waitress was missing in action after we received our meal.(meal was not very hot when we got it).We waited almost and hour for someone to come to our table so we could order coffee and dessert.This young man apologized for the slow service,telling us it was a emergency that the other waitress had.Anyway it is not what we normally experience at Flavour on the Water. I hope this gets straightened out soon.It certainly was not a great evening to celebrate our anniversary.
My wife and I had Flavor cater our wedding on September 10th, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
What a gem! Wonderful food and friendly service. The chowder was excellent, as well as the beet and goat cheese salad and the maple/spinach salad. All delicious.

Walking up the stairs on a Saturday night, we expected to wait for a bit to be seated. But just a few minutes later we were treated to a lovely table outside overlooking the Esplanade and just behind the big fiddle! We had an amazing server that was super cool and a lot of fun. The chicken wings were super hot and tasty, the mains were awesome and of course the dessert..not that we needed it but it was TDF. If you're looking for some great food in Sydney, check this place out. You'll be glad you did!
I live in Sydney, and all three of the Flavor restaurants are my go-tos for high quality cuisine. Brunch? Flavor H20 without a doubt. Fabulous eggs benny with an unparalleled view of the harbor. Lunch? Get a Cubbie at Flavor Downtown. Hosting an evening event and need delicious catering? Flavor 19. The service is always exemplary (particular shout out to Flavor H20 who have put up with me trying to eat outside despite wind and then promptly bailing). I've ordered Flavor Downtown as takeout and it's just as good as it is in the restaurant, which is quite a feat. Whether you're a local or a visitor, definitely stop by at any of the Flavor locations - you will be happy you did!
Owner is the beyond RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL!!! Never in my life have I been treated so poorly at a restaurant! Absolutely disheartening and will never give this place my service again!!! After a simple request for lights to be turned on in the back room we were told he did not need our service in front of the whole restaurant and he did not want the lights on. As he did not care if we could see our food after his very Pleasant and polite waiter said we could turn the lights on. The owner maybe should take some advice on how to treat people from his staff! Hopefully he doesn’t treat them with the horrible disrespect that we received.
