Absolutely stunning. Easts Side Marios has given us an experience one will not and cannot forget. The waiter kindly took all 7 of us to our extended table. We swiftly got our drinks which was when we were introduced to the love of our life, garlic loafs. They may as well call themselves Loaf side Loaf’s because their garlic loafs are to die for.

Located in the Mayflower Mall, exterior and mall entrance. Fully licensed, good food, friendly service, clean environment. Food was exactly what I expected from an East side Mario's

Service was a little slow, otherwise alright. Food was a bit disappointing, lasagna was flavorless, same with the pasta, wedding soup was alright if a little cold. All and all a mediocre experience.
Good food, great service... what's not to love
The quality of the food at this chain has really gone down in recent years but the prices haven’t. We’ve dined at several East Side Mario’s across Canada and the Sydney location is the worse, even after dining here over 5 times as well as take out 2 times. The so-called garlic butter served with the bread has very little garlic in it and tastes like Becel margarine, the Caesar salad dressing consistently tastes watered down, and the pasta is almost always over cooked. Service can be quick or very slow, no matter the time of day. Asking for refills on drinks sometimes is forgotten by the waiter - we’ve noticed this a few times with one particular waiter. Yes, they have a few specials with their dinners that includes salad/soup and bread, but the main entrees are not as delicious as years ago.
