hmm so Weird Harbour or Racist Harbour? had a great experience first time, friendly baristas and delicious latte (both the guy and gal barista had longish hair and were white). Today the barista was white and had very short hair, so short you could see the skin on his head (In case he has alopecia I will say no more about his hair), but there was a white woman customer when we came in and she was bouncing from order counter to pickup counter and so my sister and I (both of us are brown people) hung back while the white woman went from counter to counter getting her beans ground up and moving her thermos of coffee from here to there. Clearly the white short haired barrista had seen two brown customers walk in and knew we were next. Then another customer walks in, this new customer is white. The bouncing white woman finally leaves and the barista (with the hair so short you can see the skin on his head) who had clearly seen two brown customers walk in and wait while he ground the beans for the bouncing white woman decided to completely ignore the two brown customers and served the white customer first who had come in after the two brown customers who were clearly waiting to order. The white customer was third in line and got served first by the close cropped hairdo'd barista, so closely cropped you could see the skin on his head. Weird Harbour or racist harbour? You decide.Serve your customers based on when they walked in to your establishment. Not based on their skin colour. I am throughly disgusted that this business hires a barista who is so ready to ignore brown customers. You have lost me as a customer until you lose that racist barista.
Was looking for a nice coffee joint to sit down at. This was not it. I guess I should have figured that from the name. Coffee is great and is more of a order and go joint. I enjoy detour coffee (the coffee used), so overall good.
The place is so cute, and the coffee is so good. I ordered oat cake as well and it turned out to be so goodI wish if they have a dine in option
Great coffee and tea with really great baked goods. Also the staff here is hilarious and very friendly!
the girl in there was so lovely! it sucks there’s no indoor seating, but it’s a pretty small space so with covid i understand. really cute vibe overall and the espresso is superb. everything was reasonably priced as well. beautiful location as well!
first time going was fast and easy - ordered an americano black. she must have poured a bad shot because It didn't quite hit the spot. Will try again soon - amazing upscaled atmosphere and the prices are lower than starbucks
It’s a cozy cafe to just grab and go. They have some lovely treats from cookies to vegan breakfast bars.I ordered an oat vanilla latte and it was made to perfection, best latte I’ve had in a long time. You’re doing great work, keep at it :)
Having read the excellent reviews decided to give it a try. Ordered a couple of lattees, a cookie and a seeded/oat cake. My wife thought the cookie was very basic and lacked taste. We both found the lattees to be to cold. Just warm. Bit of a disappointment for us.
Nice little coffee bar, staffed with passionate coffee expert. The wait can be a little long, but similar to any Starbucks but the coffee and the expertise that much better. I will stop by next time I'm in town.
Went here based on a recommendation from a long time fan. Great service - very friendly staff. And excellent coffee!
