If Orlando had a seafood restaurant like this, reservations would be books months in advance. Not only are the meals fabulous, the service is sublime. Our tour group of 38 overwhelmed the lunch staff and took up much of the front area. Being in the Maritimes requires seafood consumption, assuming no food allergies. I started with a yummy chowder thick enough to eat with a fork [I know, hyperbole], but I used a spoon to scrape the bowl clean. Grilled salmon and roasted potatoes followed. The tour company allowed only one glass of wine, but the generous pour of Sauvignon Blanc served as two glasses, a wonderful complement to the meal. That chilly, overcast day encouraged a warm, freshly made apple concoction not found in Florida but I’d like to have the recipe☺

Possibly my worse experience in Halifax. Awful food, pre mixed drinks, terrible service and, if certainly preferential customers

Great location, good atmosphere, good service, clean washrooms. Unfortunately they miss the mark a bit with the food. I'll preface it by saying that we did not have any seafood, so I can't speak to that. My quinoa salad was full of great ingredients but totally lacking in flavour (plus the portion was very small). My husband ordered the portobello stack and was equally underwhelmed. I tasted one of his snow peas since he doesn't like them and it tasted like it was boiled until mushy, with no salt. Our daughter's kids meal of chicken fingers and fries was honestly the best thing we ordered. The fries are great and the cookie for dessert was warm and soft. We got some chicken skewers after our entrees since we were still hungry. Nothing exciting there either.

So nice and relaxing. Best experience. Service was excellent. Server was so friendly, helpful, accommodating, kind and they go the extra mile. Parking can be limited and hard to find (depending on time and day). Would recommend the seafood if you're in Nova Scotia. Atmosphere was incredibly. Highly recommended. This place is a must stop if you live or from out of town visiting. Can't wait to go back again!!

Amazing Fish and Chips that is affordable

Great food, great drinks and dog friendly patio spots also.

Large eatery on the beautiful Halifax Waterfront. Had the lobster roll, two generous scoops of lobster mush on a hot dog bun, forming the Worst. Lobster. Roll. Ever. It seemed to be that gunk you get in the frozen cans, made up of extruded leg meat. Not a lobster chunk to be had, let alone fresh lobster. For $33, Chef, hang your head in shame. The wine was reasonably priced, for the locale.

A friend recommended we visit here. We are glad we did. The service was quick and the chowder was excellent.

Arrived just before the dinner rush on a Sunday. We were seated right away on the patio. The molasses brown bread was surprisingly sweet and tasty, the oysters were very fresh and the selection was huge. The crab fritters were crispy and delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were also great. My one critique was the service being a bit slow, especially when waiting for the bill.

If your not afraid to dish out a few bucks. This restaurant is an absolutely wonderful spot to stop and grab a bite and a local craft beer. Lovely dishes
