Forever my favourite sushi place. Every time I come home from Quebec I have to make a stop here. Their sushi is always good and they provide extra rolls! It's a great way to try a roll you might not have picked for yourself. Everything I have tried has been delicious ?

Sushi rolls were delicious and fresh! Lots of variety to pick from. The staff was pleasant. The squid sashimi was a little slimy. Fantastic value and worth the stop!!
I know Wasabi House is popular because of all the extra rolls they give out but I would honestly rate it on the lower side of average. The restaurant itself is very cramped and has a rather unpleasant odour. Service is okay depending on who the server is, and the food is fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Prices are good, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for Wasabi House.
They have an extensive menu to choose from. Our order was ready for pickup in 15 minutes and they gave us bonus sushi with our order! Highly recommend!
I used to come here all the time as a kid but I have never been so disappointed with my order. 1) Ordered delivery and noticed the charge was super high so called to clarify and they sent the wrong tray set - so agreed to refund for amount that was over charged (the onlypositive thing). 2) we notice the requests we made for dietary restrictions was not accommodated. 3) they deliver the right stuff but it’s still WRONG! Not to mention my particular roll had something very off as it has now caused sever sickness. All in all I would say avoid unless you want to waste your time and food that you won’t be able to keep in your stomach for long.
This place is the BEST sushi in Halifax… have been going here for years. Always fresh, always tasty, great prices and amazing staff. Couldn’t ask for a better restaurant.
Used to dine in when I lived in HFX now that we live in the South Shore we always get it to go when we drive to the city. Staff is so freaking friendly and they they're fast, food is yummy and always comes with extra rolls! We've tried Sushi Nami once and although their rolls are bigger it was ridiculously expensive for the amount we normally get and it wasn't any better than Wasabi rolls! So we will forever be sticking to Wasabi House, never stepping into any other sushi house ever! :)
