One of my favourite cafes to study at! It's very conveniently within walking distance of SMU and Dal. Although it can be a little pricey, their coffee, espresso, and bagels are so perfectly made that they're worth every dime. It's a great place to get work done too, it's a pleasant atmosphere, and the music isn't too loud.
I have only ordered tripple cafe mocha's here but 9 times out of 10 they are really delicious. Price is about 8 dollars after tip so just a once in a while thing for me, can't justify spending that much on a coffee outside of once a month or so. Slow servicebut quality product.

Amazing customer service, and not just in-person! Left Halifax about a year ago but still get some of their ground beans shipped to my new home. My first shipment from them got lost, but as soon as I reached out they sent me a replacement containing double what I'd ordered. Too generous.
really cool the way it’s underground! very tasty pastries and coffee, and a wonderful place to study or meet with friends! not far from campus either which is great.
Food was delicious, I didn't have a coffee but my partner enjoyed hers. Decor is almost industrial but quite hip. Staff were friendly and the place is nice and clean.

Cozy coffee shop with variety of drinks, snacks, etc. Service was quick, covid restrictions followed. Bit busy when I visited.
