Came here as a group. The food was preordered by a friend. Expensive, but likely one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in Halifax.
Best place to have Peking duck within NS! My boyfriend isn’t a soup person but he loves the duck soup. Bamboo boots in the duck stir fry make the flavour so fresh! Love love it! Customer service is also amazing. There was another family with two little kids, waitress was very patient to the kids :)
Love it, the Chinese cuisine here is definitely authentic(except Canadian classic Chinese food) Food mean have a nice range, suit for every flavor you may prefer,their daily specials are also worth to try.
The flavor is good but most dishes are too greasy. It would be much better if put less oil in each dish.
Best Chinese food in the city. The egg rolls are the best I've ever had anywhere. We always get a few to go for the next day (they heat up well in the oven). The batter on the salt and pepper squid is so well seasoned. The garnish adds a good amount of flavour to it and it is not at all greasy. We had one of the specials, the Bao buns. I was impressed that they are cooked fresh to order. The extra care put into making them can be tasted. They were the highlight of the meal for me and I hope they make it onto the permanent menu.
The food was delicious! I had asked a question on Google regarding portion sizes and the chef called us back to explain. Amazing fried ribs and egg rolls.
We FINALLY got to enjoy an AMAZING dinner! As usual, our eyes were bigger than our tummies…but, meh, makes for delish midnight snacks! ? BBQ pork, Pork Bao, Crispy Tofu in Oyster sauce & mushrooms and Salt&Pepper Squid! O.M.Freaking.G! We will SO be back!!!! After arriving at the restaurant, I was very disappointed to find out that I could only place an order online. I called from the parking lot to see if I could order combos, only to be informed that no combos are available anymore. So disappointing because we thought the food and the egg rolls were delicious. The prices are very expensive now even for the Canadian Chinese food. Will not be ordering.
A restaurant located on Bedford Highway specializing in Cantonese and Canadian Chinese dishes. The Xmas/NYE feast was a great value for money, with 7 different dishes and a soup. The food also came in compostable containers which is much more environmentally friendly than the styrofoam containers that many restaurants use. The taste of the dishes felt more catered towards the Canadian Chinese food with some food being more bland than usual (salt pepper squid) and some being way too flavourful (the pepper in the pepper beef). Overall, good quality food and excellent presentation.
Probably THE BEST chinese food I have ever had. wow !!
