The good: The food was VERY good. Good selection of local beers too.Unfortunately that’s where it stops. The service was LAUGHABLE. Sat down with 2 other people at 5 o’clock, with 1 table occupied, I’m still sitting at 7:05 waiting for the bill. 30 minutes to order, 70 minutes for the food. Server didn’t come by at all, we couldn’t have ordered more drinks if we wanted to. I couldn’t afford to eat here again, i would die of old age before we got our order taken.Update, 7:10 pm. We’ve gotten our bills and it was also very expensive.

Oh my word what would I give to have a pub like this as my local in Cary North Carolina. The ambiance the authentic rugby gear on the wall the hand signed rugby jersey by all time Canada great Al Charron my god what a spot. I had the poutine with spicy Guinness gravy and a banger which was excellent. My wife had the French onion soup that was not that good. In fact she said is was very, very average so to me that means substantial room for improvement. Like she said don't order French onion soup in a pub. Its like you don't order fish at a steak joint. I wish I could package this place and take it home...

So good we went twice for dinner! Okay, it’s also super convenient to where we were staying but was a great surprise. Beers are cold and food is SO GOOD. After travelling from Toronto with my partner, a few pints of Guinness paired with the fish and chips and shepards pie hit the spot. I would highly recommend. The vibe is great and it always seems to be busy!

Unbelievably good food and quick efficient service. They are frequently busy and have pockets of crowds and then it's clear. Either way they deal with it very effectively. The menu is delicious and non pretentious. Everything is very well seasoned and the atomosphere is spectacular. I would recommend the Sheppard's Pie. Seriously...eat it!

fantastic food service is great

The most delicious fries & mostly delicious lobster roll you will ever have. Would have preferred more lobster and less filler in the lobster roll. Staff are fantastic!

Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.

The place was completely full and there were only two servers, so service was a little on the slow side. That being said, the food was definitely worth the wait. I had the beef dip with a side of fries. The sandwich was very good and the fries were excellent. I don't usually go for fries, but these were special - thick cut, battered, and seasoned. The strawberry rhubarb pie that I had to round out the meal was absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Limited number of local beers. No Big Spruce or Propellor products. Great mussels, terrible steak and Guiness pie, brown flour based glue inside. Pastry ruined by too much gravy outside. Nice carrots and beans though. On the other hand the server was a hardworking pro and the tree out front is lovely.

It was our first time here, and we had a good experience. The servers were super friendly and nice, and the food was super tasty! I really enjoyed the atmosphere there, so definitely will go back again soon!
