This is just great to have in our neighbourhood. Let's keep them alive and well... not that we need to: my only complaint is that they are rarely not full -- even with the large addition added last year.These guys get the full five stars for being a walking-distance restaurant that doesn't serve up platitudes on a plate: clichéd club houses and such. It also wins for changing the menu often, and never missing the mark. I must get a job there as their food tester!Competent and friendly wait staff, and local beer and local ingredients. We live in an eden of local food; how can so many other local restaurants get this so wrong?One drawback, is that their license doesn't allow for you to just go for a beer with friends and neighbours. Next request for the neighbourhood? A decent local pub.
We went here during Halifax Burger week. The food was amazing and the the service too. I highly recommend the Creme Brûlée.
Absolutely worth checking out the Brooklyn Warehouse. The food was outstanding and the service was great too. I had the short rib and it was phenomenal. The menu changes seasonally so you know you’re getting quality food. It is a little pricey but the food is so good that it’s worth it for a treat.
My meal was really tasty, but both the potato and the broccoli was really overdone. The meat was amazing. Didn’t even need a knife to cut it! Very tasty.
This place had great food! Some of the best beer fries I've ever had! Would totally come back. The atmosphere was very much pub fare with 2 outdoor patios. However the beer list was as small as this restaurant.
My mom and sister and I ate here last night and were very impressed with the food and service. Would definitely go back.
We visited here for the first time to celebrate our 41st. wedding anniversary. In short, everything exceeded our expectations (and I’m fussy!). I had the seared scallop starter and Arctic Char as a main, and the flavour combinations of both were amazing (hats off Chef Andrew). The selection of local beers and cocktails were excellent as well. Service was prompt, attentive, and pleasant. This was the perfect choice for a special evening. Can’t wait to return with our friends!
The service was topnotch here and that was just the start. Brunch was excellent and they made subtle changes to adapt to my wife's dairy sensitivities yet kept the taste. Well seasoned and fresh food. Salads were crisp with my only concern being a slightly overdressed. We liked this place so much we bought a gift certificate to give our daughter who lives in Halifax.
