Delicious !! Best guacamole I’ve ever had ! Tacos were amazing ?
I usually write tons of description like the taste the environment the service…but this time my Mexican friend said this is THE VERY authentic Mexican food ??and that’s everything!
We went to Tako Loko on a Friday afternoon for a quick snack. We tried the fish tacos and they were fresh, tasty and filling. The atmosphere at the restaurant is good and service was friendly. The menu is small so easy to choose, but I wish there were more seafood options, such as shrimp tacos and perhaps nachos.
Nice cozy place and Best Tacos in Halifax. We ordered Fish tacos and it was very fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly and customer services is very fast. Definitely going back there again.

May be the best guacamole I’ve ever had and the chips are great. The tacos are very authentic Mexican tacos and taste amazing! Hands down best tacos I’ve had in Canada and that’s coming from someone who grew up in California
Tasty, authentic Mexican tacos close to home? Yum! Lots of Taco varieties. I tried four and they were all delicious. They have burritos, as well. I'll be back!
3 stars because it’s a good place to go on occasion. Their tacos are authentic flavour, but I find it’s never consistent whether it’s some menu items or the quality of the beef.5-10 min turn around if they’re not busy.You will have to walk right up the the cash because they won’t see you if you just walk into the store.I’ve never ordered the beans and rice since they don’t look authentic but something you’d find at habaneros.Best taco on the menu: Suadero, Fish, and Lamb (IF it’s in stock)$5/taco not incl tax.
The real deal. Authentic and high quality mexican food. Owners are lovely too. Must go, definitely the best mexican food in Halifax.
