We ate here on a Monday night and it was fairly busy. We were very pleased with the food. There were some interesting Maki rolls (Fuji Mountain and Rock & Roll), they were fresh and well made. We also had the pork belly as an appetizer and it was delicious. Overall service was good. Was a bit delayed at the beginning since they were short staffed.

Delicious fresh sushi, generous portions and very well priced. The service was very attentive and the washrooms spotlessly clean.Highly recommend and will be coming back next time I’m in Halifax

First time I came, the service and food was superb for dinner with out of town clients from Ontario. The second time was for lunch with out of town clients, service was slow, food was slightly cold…. Disappointed as I raved how delightful my last experience was. The servers were chatting not mindful to get our order as we sat there for awhile waiting…Needless to say, I did go back a third time on my own for lunch, the server I had was sweet, brought my food out hot, was on the ball with service. She was delightful which gives me to rate a 4 for this restaurant. Would have been a 5 if it weren’t for the inconsistent service from the servers.

Had a lovely and of delicious lunch here today with my friend today. It’s one of the best in Halifax the quality and professional service. I would highly recommend this sushi restaurant if you are reading this I promise they won’t disappoint you.

really friendly staff and excellent sushi (serving size, taste, variety - they cover all the bases!). also 10/10 ramen. the atmosphere is beautiful too (altho maybe they could’ve played a little less country music, i didnt think that suited the vibe too well tbh). great location, right by the library and close to the waterfront. really great place to go for a date. and the drinks arent too bad either (i recommend getting a cold sake bottle)! definitely coming back again soon. fairly priced as well.

This is for the Dartmouth Crossing location. I am unable to comment or review on their facebook page. I went in for lunch yesterday with a friend. I ordered my food. I loved the pork dumplings to start and was very excited to eat the ramen but the meat tasted a bit off and I just didn't really like it. So I asked for it to be packed up and I would take it home. I had maybe 3 mouthfuls. I decided to be honest and let her no I didn't like it. The waitress (wonderful and kind la

Really disappointing sushi. Half of each roll composed of panko crumbs. Emphasis is on speed not quality of food. Won’t be back.

Had an absolutely wonderful time. Great environment, friendly staff, excellent sushi and top notch drinks.

Superb sushi, great service and Sapporo on tap as well. There is cider on tap as well. Well worth a visit, specifically during happy hour 14:30 -16:30. Would eat here again.

I came here as I was craving for home food. I had a tonkotsu ramen. The taste was horrible and it was not tonkotsu ramen at all. They should have removed it from the menu. The service was super slow. And they played Chinese music. They should not call themselves Japanese restaurant.
