Food was amazing, the waitress was even better. We made a reservation. We were not told there was going to be a 15% service fee for having more than 6 until the bill was received. This same fee was applied to three separate bills (15% on each). The waitress did not get the tip she deserved because of the service fee (which we know was not going to her).
Enjoyed a great lunch here today. Had Bento Box that comes with a Miso soup. Service was excellent as always.
My husband and I were having lunch at Sushi Nami last week. For lunch we would like to order Bento box, it is absolutely delicious! There are two floors, I love to sit upstairs, feels relax and comfortable. I recommend this place for everyone! ???
Really good food, higher price point than other sushi places around, however for the taste it was well worth it. Cute little spot and the waitress was exceptional
Only one word to describe this restaurant DELICIOUS! From the moment you set foot in the restaurant, the staff are great, the ambiance is a little lacking but the fantastic flavour of the food makes up for this. A must try is the flaming volcano role and the Tomkatsu Ramen soup! Hope you enjoy it! If so, gives us a ?
Well we’ve had a lot of great sushi living in Vancouver, but it doesn’t have anything on the experience we had at Sushi Nami. Great atmosphere, nice open space and so clean everywhere. Staff was so pleasant and sincere and then…..the sushi! Just fantastic, so fresh, plentiful and delicious. Only here a few more days but will try to get back before heading off!
Absolutely my favourite sushi place. Extremely fresh and delicious. Staff are kind and very helpful. Can be on the pricier side, but well worth it. ! 10/10 would recommend.
My family and I have always dined in here and kept coming back until recently, the past few experiences we had were not good. The miso soup we ordered was not warm and was too salty. The rolls we ordered had a mushy texture, something with the rice was not right, they were a lot more spicy than usual, and the sauces on top of them also didn’t taste well. It seemed like the sauce didn’t match with the flavour of the rolls. We go here a lot so we know when something is off.We brought it up to the waiter and even asked if they changed chefs and she just said no, sorry and didn’t seem to care. She could have brought it up to the chef or whoever was in charge of preparing the food to maybe check if anything was wrong in their kitchen.Won’t be coming back to this location due to that.
Since Covid we have still tried to pick up Take-Out here on a fairly regular basis as it is a very nice restaurant and I think they would appreciate trying to keep their sales active as much as possible while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Mostly we order Bento boxes or Maki rolls. The sushi is very fresh and well made but maybe a bit too heavy on the filling and too light on the rice. The Bento's used to have soup&salad before Covid but now there is no soup, and greasy fried onions/carrots instead of salad. The rice, teriyaki and tempura are still great however. Prices are not cheap and I still leave a tip even on take-out. Hopeful to see them restore their service to the levels they were at a couple years ago.
We been there few times in the past and no issues, but today, our misu soup was served cold and very salty. The rest of our meal wasn't good as usual. I couldn't finish eating as it was bad. Even the server didn't do much after i addressed the issue to her.
