From Montreal and my family and I truly enjoyed the quality and taste. Great owners, they went out of their way to prepare a special request for us. Exceptional people, Exceptional restaurant!Worth every $.
I came here while visiting the area b/c their online menu showed very reasonable prices. I was the only customer when I arrived so they prepared my sushi rolls right away, on the spot. Super fresh and delicious but some could've been a bit more put together. I got the spicy salmon roll and tempura shrimp with avocado (12-14 pieces total, I believe) Came to about $15 with tax. Would definitely go back.
We deliberately had items left out of our online order (which was admitted by the restaurant) and were told they would “get us back next time.” After spending about $70 for sushi and receiving only three very small rolls, we finally called today to order many items alongside the rolls we never got. Unfortunately this small business remembers us and the order, but refused to fulfill their promise. On a separate occasion, we went in to the restaurant to pick up and we saw at least five customers complain about wrong orders, partially filled orders and someone was even given someone else’s order. Quality sushi, but extremely poor customer service. Please support other small businesses.
I tried sushi cove as I heard about how knowledgeable they were regarding veganism, and I had a wonderful experience!!! Not only did I have the best sushi I’ve ever had, they had vegan spicy mayo and the spring rolls and gyoza were vegan which were SO GOOD. I will definitely be making the trip out here more often now!!!
Ordered sushi for takeout, very fresh and tasty, even the tempura remained crispy after the drive home. Ordered black dragon, unagi nigiri, salmon and butter fish sashimi, salmon lovers combo and assorted tempura.
I usually judge Sushi restaurants by quality of miso soup and this place has a really tasty Miso.I’ve been in every Sushi place in Halifax and I’m so surprised how good the food was. Definitely recommend, the place itself has only 4 tables, so just get a takeout and Be Happy!
Lovely family run business that has beautifully presented and fresh sushi with original roll combos and the crispiest tempura! Best sushi in Halifax. What took us so long to find this little gem??
I personally have become addicted to Sushi Cove. After trying well over a dozen sushi locations Sushi Cove is simply unmatched. Their service is consistently friendly, and timely. The quality of ingredients is always as fresh as can be, and you cannot go wrong with any item on their menu. This location easily has the best sushi in Halifax and will be my go to for many years
I have being getting my sushi from Sushi Cove since it opened. I also have lunch there once a month with my sister. The sushi is so fresh and the best I have ever eaten. The owner and other workers are so kind. Love this place !
