Perhaps the nicest restaurant in Halifax. The chef is excellent. We live in London, UK and find this restaurant comparable to some of the finest we have locally.
Very nice little restaurant in an old house, using a couple of rooms on the main floor as the dining area and the upper stories as a boutique hotel. Very limited menu, with 5 items as appetizers and 6 for the main course, all of which look interesting. I choose the goat cheeze appetizer and the duck main course - both very good, perfect amounts, very nicely presented. A good choice when you're in Halifax.
An amazing meal for our 15th wedding anniversary. Thank you to Mallorie for looking after us, and to the entire Stories team for a memorable evening.
This place was amazing. Took my fiancée there last night for Valentine's Day. The staff were friendly. They made every moment feel special. The food was on point. It tasted amazing and looked even better. Will definitely be going here again.
Excellent dining experience, food was well prepared, tasted amazing. Malcom was very attentive during our dinner service. Definitely would eat here again in the future
Best restaurant in Halifax.
Beautiful presentation and delicious food. We both prefer our vegetables cooked more than those on our plates. We ordered a specific bottle of wine and the waitress was able to make sure it was the right one. Nice music choice for a quiet evening meal.
What an amazing meal at this hidden gem. Although many visiting business people and tourists may know about it, too few Halifax residents seem to be aware of Stories. Our recent visit just increased our enthusiasm for it. Our party of 4 had the duck, beef, guinea hen and tuna. All were superb.
Just unbelievable taste. I have no words, this is the best food I've eaten in years.
Amazing atmosphere and food for a special occasion. Highly recommend!
