Great for vegans!The cold peanut noodle salad is very good and transports easily for airplane travel or the beach. I also recommend the vegan caesar salad, it was excellent.I tried most of the pre-made frozen meals and I was not a huge fan of several of them (chkn pesto with potatoes, "meat" with potatoes and veggies were my least favorite and couldn't even finish them). I did enjoy the tex mex pasta but the pasta is not gluten free. This is a personal preference so other people may enjoy them.

Very mediocre food. We tried 2 sandwiches, a salad and the smoothie. The smoothie was good, but not worth the price. The food (for 2 people) was around $70 (before tip) and definitely not worth the price. Very tasteless and just not worth it. I can't believe the good reviews - it must be because Halifax has very limited vegan/vegetarian food options!
Halifax's one and only full vegan grocery store! They also have a restaurant serving delicious bowls, sandwiches, smoothies and more. Worth a trip!
I stop in at Spring House every couple of weeks and buy a few frozen meals to take home. The beauty of their product as you know you’re getting extremely healthy food without all the garbage ingredients that you would get in a supermarket style frozen food section. Everything is made with care in their kitchen with good healthy plant-based ingredients. I usually pick up a few other things while I’m there including Samosa or some kind of a sweet snack. What a terrific store and a wonderful asset in our community.
This gem of a store deserves more stars then Google allows. The staff are super friendly, always willing to help with any questions and go above and beyond. The food is delicious and portions are very generous.The grocery market is a like a candy store for anyone vegan, endless options and products you cannot find anywhere else!Only downside is the parking situation, but a very very small downside compared to the positives!
Spring House absolutely slaps.I don't know why nobody seems to talk about it much.The cream of tomato soup is so f#@&ing good it made me cry tears of joy.The Springwich Sandwich is absolutely [email protected]#$ing bussin.The Chick'n Ceaser wrap is a work of art.I don't know what black magic is worked in that kitchen, but the food that comes out always is so fresh, and flavourful, its a miracle I ever eat anywhere else.PLUS it's healthy!How? How is it this good for me AND this good tasting.The only downside is that they aren't open later so I can eat there more.
What a place, Owners are amazing, staff are so nice, food is so good, desserts are delicious and the market is just a perfect addition. I always love this spot and am a regular here.
I love this place so much! They have hard to find vegan food products and delicious prepared foods. They deliver and have wonderful customer service!
