Great location, however very slow service. Reservations for a crowd of 14 had been made in advance for 4pm as their was an engagement at 615 we needed to be at. The trouble was, there was one waitress, one chef. Food was great, however would not go back if I needed to be elsewhere..Thanks to the manager for reaching out, however prpblem csnnot be resved unti staffing increases.a duggestion might be to not take reservations when customers have a time lomit. In this case, it was known in advance.

This is one of those “I don’t usually post these” posts. But I just got back from lunch here and the servers that work there are relatively young. The person who sat us, had attitude with us from the start. When we requested a table with chairs, her reply was that “we don’t usually sit people here” as we went into a section with a table of two people sitting there. Which would be whatever but we were eating lunch with my cousin who is visibly physically disabled and requires a walker and can’t sit in a booth due to the lack of support. My cousin has cerebral palsy and has a hard time doing things but insists on doing things independently. When she finally settled a few minutes later the young woman responded with “looks like you’re finally settled” with attitude. She then proceeded to take our drink orders and continued to be rude to us for no apparent reason. It’s one thing to take a bad day out on random people but to then make a women who is physically disabled feel upset for existing, that’s a whole other story. Do better.

The food was underwhelming at best. Their waffles and pancakes tasted like boxed batter or the stuff you get with free breakfast at hotels. The presentation of the food was horrendous. My significant other got a waffle with nothing on it just thrown on the plate, and you'd assume for the price you would get fruit or whipped cream or something for the price you were paying, but everything was an extra charge. Not only that there was a hair under the waffle, how do you not notice a hair on an empty plate before you put a plain waffle on it?.But this restaurant wasn't only extremely lacking in the food department, but one of the wait staff was very rude and unfriendly with slow service times as we waited 10 minutes at the front door before we were finally sat at a table. After the relief of finally leaving that uncomfortable restaurant, both me and my significant other felt extremely nauseous and unwell. This was a terrible experience, and we will never recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good breakfast diner.

The couple that came after us, was served and ordered and such before us. The wait was over an hour, and I'm sorry but the restaurant did not seem busy.I had the waffle with strawberry topping and it was good, but after breakfast all of my dining companions felt sick and bloated. Won't be back to this particular establishment, but may try a different franchise/chain in the future.

So, I waited 15minutes to order and then my order had egg shell in it. Waitress never did anything to fix it, just said sorry. Didn't even eat ½ my food because it grossed me out so much. Then at the end I was over charged for my child's Happy Cakes: I question the extra charge for strawberry sause which CLEARLY included in the menu description and my waitress just giggled and just said no its extra. First and last time I'll be going there.

It is one of good place for breakfast in downtown. There black coffee and pancakes are best.

Service was great: felt like a small town diner in downtown Hali. I highly recommend the Ukrainian skillet, but the cinnamon pancakes are also to die for

Had a wonderful breakfast there with my sons. Food was great and the staff was very friendly. We'll be back!

Went for breakfast. They had a good selection of food. If you ate vegetarian you can ask for certain dishes without meat. One piece of advice to the staff would be to pick up glasses from the bottom of the cup... the top is where I drink from and don't want hands all over that.

I'll say the food is good. I haven't waited too long for food and it always has come out ready and warm. The service is SERIOUSLY lacking though. I have visited this restaurant on several different occasions over the last two years at various times and the service has been consistently poor. I will be promptly seated but often can wait over 15 minutes before a server even comes to address the table. From working in the service industry myself, I can understand there are busy times and a server can't get to a table as quickly as they would like, but when I have been there this has not been the case. Today my server was polite and honest about her working experience (she said this was her 4th table she has served ever), which is fine. I'm glad she was honest. But she should have been shadowing an experienced server to understand the proper flow of working in a restaurant (managing customer expectations, acknowledging tables when they are seated, timing when to bill tables ready to leave and taking orders of newly sat tables). I think this is a management issue. Not once have I seen a manager on duty. Management should look into properly training their servers.
