Delicious food and amazing service! I was visiting the city and simply had to stop by for a wonderful meal at Shiraz restaurant. The Soltani kabab was so fantastic that I had to buy more to take home!! It's a welcoming space with lots of personal touches. Being able to buy goodies like Persian tea and candies that are hard to find in the Atlantic region, combined with delicious food, makes this place a MUST VISIT on my list when I'm in Halifax!
I visited along with my brother and his family. The worst food I ever tried. The lady claim to be having this restaurant for 17 years yet she didn't know how to make kabob roll and how to make rice properly. We ended up paying 50 bucks for 2 rolls and one rice. And we couldn't eat. Horrible.
Great take out option. Food was all very tasty and the chicken was super tender. Will return!
Used to eat from here almost daily when I was in Canada very delicious food to the point that after leaving by 6 years almost 7 I'm still craving their food lol
Well, my first review in Halifax and I have traveled the world before settling in GTA, trust me, food is made not just with ingredients but with passion and affection... I have some Chicken leg on top of pilaf nixed with berries and it was absolutely mind blowing... And I felt the warmth from the owners too... What a Lady she is... The real Persian food from a real Persian, relentlessly hardworking canadian couple... This is the best food I had in Halifax and I guess the memories will stay unbeatable throughout my life... Shaukran! - tested and fully certified by a Bengali !
Very nice lady helped us from start to finish! I had just moved to the city from Toronto and great Persian food is a must have, otherwise it ain’t gonna work lol5 star for food5 star for service5 star for atmosphere
One of the best restaurants in Halifax. The food is fantastic with a rice that you can’t find anywhere else. We loved the kabab and we usually got zereshk polo to go with it. Prices are very reasonable and the people that work here are super nice and friendly with a lovely personality. Can’t recommend this sweet little restaurant enough.

Warm and kind host, Zahra khanum makes you remember your aunt.The best rice, I've tried in Canada,so fluffy and good looking, delicious Kebab, Shirazi Salad and Dough. The best food in one week vacation for all 9 people in the group. My children finished their food with appetite and they insisted me to put this review as they can no longer make the compliments of their favorite fast food.I wish I were living in Halifax to go there at least once a week. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Definitely come back there in future. Thank you Zahra khanoom , wish you health and prosperous business.
