Excellent service and the food was delicious. My son loved the sushi and I enjoyed the champagne halibut.
This was our third visit here. My wife loves sushi and I don’t, so we’ve found the menu here normally has things we both enjoy. She had sushi and greatly enjoyed it, however I had the sticky lemon chicken and it was terrible. The chicken was dry and bland, nothing sticky or lemon about it. The veggies were good, but the rice was unseasoned and the chicken didn’t come with any sauce so there was nothing to add to the rice. Overall, very disappointed with the chicken especially considering the cost.
I had approx a dozen oysters. (YUMMIE) & surf & turf (exception). My daughter had the lobster roll & chirashi soba - with a glass of white wine. We did not have desserts as we were so full from our dinner. We were lucky & were seated outside. Our table was a mini fire pit, blankets are also provided if needed as it sometimes gets cool by the water in the evenings. The food & service was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good service, good food & a great evening.
Love the ambiance there always! Our server Rose was amazing! Went above and beyond getting us a table inside after we had been outside for a couple of hours! Pending rain and thunderstorm she told us and found us a table! Awesome!! Thank you weâll be back many times we love it there!
excellent service and the food was delicious and so elegantly presented . Tyson our server was very attentive and made excellent suggestions . I highly recommend the mussels ( make sure you order extra bread for dipping in the broth ! ) and the Black Mumba fusion roll which is delicious and a generous portion! we will definetly be back again
Be prepared to wait a bit for your food on a busy night, but service staff are excellent and view and ambiance from the patio are second to none in Halifax.
Food was delicious, slightly pricey for the amount but really good. Cocktails were a tad underwhelming. Service was excellent, despite our server being slammed, and our table had a perfect view for people watching!
We had some visitors in town and wanted to treat them to an outdoor harbor dining experience at the place we used to enjoy. Plus, we are very COVID-careful and eat only at outside restaurants right now. Knowing how crowded it can be in the summer, we made a reservation and requested an outdoor table in the space provided for requests. Nowhere on the restaurant website or Open Table interface does it say that reservations are for indoors only and that you have to wait in line for an outdoor table. We found that out only when we showed up for our reservation. At that point, we had no other options due to how busy the waterfront was and that our guests were due elsewhere at a certain time. We are definitely turning to another restaurant to take future visitors and for the two of us to frequent in the off season.
Fantastic menu and food. Atmosphere and staff are the best. Would highly recommend for a great dining experience in a great location.
