Had dinner outside by the water on a beautiful evening. The delicious Seafood Casserole was full of scallops, shrimp, and fish. My wife had the Lobster Roll, which was good, but the flavor of the excellent croissant overpowered the lobster a bit.

We had a wonderful late night supper at Salty's. The second floor has a wonderful view of the Harbour - I recommend asking for a table there. I enjoyed their garlic shrimp & lobster. Price wise, it's on the higher end but the location is worth the extra dollar. Portions were also decent.

Was very happy to get a table outside and had a great seafood dinner! Service was great and the food was fresh and delicious!

The restaurant has an upstairs menu and a downstairs menu; the downstairs being more casual dining. We were a family of five eating tonight and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Even the kids ate every last bit on their plates. Service was excellent and the food was fresh. This restaurant has been around for a long time and continues to be one of the best places on the waterfront. Highly recommend the Panko Haddock, the lobster roll, and fish tacos.

Good food, fair prices, friendly staff. They welcome us, and our dog, to a patio table in the shade. Highly recommended.

I visited for lunch, unfortunately my waiter wasn’t the most welcoming. He wasn’t rude but just seemed like he would have rather been somewhere else. I ordered the lobster roll and while it did taste good I was dissatisfied in the amount of lobster for the price of the meal. It was thinly coated on a croissant roll and the flavor of the bread overpowered what little flavor the lobster would have offered. If I didn’t know I had ordered a lobster roll I would not have know by the taste. Again it didn’t taste bad…. It just didn’t resemble a lobster roll as I have had in other places. Over all I wasn’t thrilled with my first visit.

We had our Best Waterfront Meal in Nova Scotia at Salty’s on the Harborwalk in Halifax! It was the busy July weekend of the fun Halifax Jazz Festival. We took the ferry from Dartmouth over to Halifax to avoid traffic and parking. Salty’s is the second restaurant up from the ferry terminal and we spotted their beautiful outdoor patio on the water on our way in. After our busy afternoon we stopped in about 3:30 PM for an early supper to beat the later dinner crowd. We both ordered the crab cakes & salad entree. The pan fried crab cakes are delicious. The salad was fresh and yummy. The cornbread, well there’s none left for sure. Our server Candace was attentive and terrific. This was the best waterfront dinner we had on our week trip here!

We ate here twice on the outside patio and enjoyed the view with the food. The servers were friendly and helpful with the menu. The lobster roll on a croissant was delicious and the oysters were very good. Great place to stop for a nice lunch.

Had a lovely meal sitting out on the patio. Service was a little slow as the kitchen was overwhelmed at times. Spent the time watching the activity on the water.

Exceptionally slow service. Do not recommend for families with children. Apparently very understaffed. 2 of 7 had to leave without their meal.
