I know that donairs are supposed to be drunk food but as a visitor to Halifax (read: donair first timer), I couldn't help but order one mid-day. While I went in with low expectations, I left pleasantly surprised at how tasty the sandwich was - the meat, which resembles gyro, was spiced well and the tomatoes and onions were the perfect accocmpaniment. The ability to sub donair sauce with (sugarless) garlic sauce was a plus too.
Just grabbed a slice for lunch and it was so hard and dry. I tossed half, tried to feed some to the birds and they couldnt break through the hard crust. It was busy at noon, not sure why my slice was like that, must have been given the oldest slice. This is my 3rd time trying this place, the first time was later at night, the pizza was terribly dry and hard, 2days ago at lunch I had one of the best slices I've had and today it was hard and dry again.
Delivery was super fast! Sauce was tasty, toppings were fresh, and cheese was generous, the crust was the only thing that had room for improvement.
Quality: We were 5, we had a club and fries, a lunch special (pizza/pop), a fresh pizza, and a chicken wrap.The food was hot, fresh and great taste. The portion sizes were perfect. (Lunch special was massive), club sandwich was a monster as well.Service: It is great to report the lady at the cash was very patient with us and offered us solutions as we were flipping on choices. Plenty of eye contact and active listening to help us figure out our order.Standing in front, there was 5 pizza places within eyesight, I'm glad we chose to dine there. We will be back next time we go to Halifax.Love the small businesses, they typically have Service and quality lost on the chain restaurants.
so my review is base on what ever food i get at the time, the "meh" was delayed by a few days so the comment was invalid since I had wings prior and I use to hold them high but they were so much whish is sad cuz I had them other times and they were great. So today I got the burger and fries. T the burger was alternative as I am allergic to some things. The patty was processed not a fresh one but honestly it slapped and I had no complaints as it was tasty. The big problem was the fries, Yes this a pizza spot but still .... the fires were cooked great and crispy. But do you not believe in seasoning? It was more land than anything I have ever tasted. Don't be afraid to spice things up and add flavour. Like even just please add some salt. You have great fries, please treat them right. There fore I give this place a three
Wasted $50 on 3 large donairs and garlic fingers I never recieved. I'll never order from here again.

My go to place while in town. I’ve been there a lot and have never been disappointed, even took the family there quite a few times and they enjoyed everything. One of the best chicken clubs you’ll ever have and the best gravy in Halifax. I was so hungry one night I couldn’t wait for my meal so I had a pizza slice out of the heater and was amazed at how good it was. You can’t go wrong here. Good prices, clean modern location and friendly service.
I don't understand how this small size of pizza came out to be $15 but my husband was able to buy a single slice (only slightly smaller than my order) for $5. Pizza was very underwhelming for the price. Bland and disappointing.
Awesome donair and value! Free delivery is definitely appreciated :) Also, your website was a seamless experience. I did notice that I got a notification that I was not in the delivery area, but I was still able to place my order. I live pretty close to the restaurant so I'm definitely in the delivery area. It may be worth looking into. You'll be getting more orders from me!
