This is one of my favorite restaurants. I made a booking and it was quick and easy. When we arrived, the waitress was fantastic. She did a perfect job of seating us, taking our drink orders, refilling glasses and bringing the receipts. As always, the food was amazing. Not only was my maple burger awesome - everyone around me had good looking food. My only suggestion would be to make the SP fries a bit crispier, but that did not break my experience! I would defiantly recommend.
Ordered on u we eats, was not good quality. Sausage and Shrimp Penne was not coated in tomato sauce, just had a bit of watery liquid at the bottom. Seafood linguine was a bit tasteless and didn’t have much seafood at all. Maybe 3 small shrimp and 3 small scallops. Wish I would’ve spent $60 somewhere else.
Excellent service, delicious breakfast and great atmosphere. Our server was so attentive and welcoming.
I liked the food and the service. The only reason why they didn't get a 5 stars was due to the almost-mandatory need to make a reservation for weekend brunches. I know it's the new norm, but they could still do better.
Honestly it pains me to even give this a one star. I ordered the chicken with mushroom truffle sauce and pan seared haddock for takeout. My chicken was burnt to a crisp and so tough I had to throw it out. I asked on the phone for extra mushroom/ truffle sauce, there is 0 taste of truffle, 4 mushroom slices and the sauce is all salt. The haddock was ever so slightly less disappointing but still very disappointing, there was a smidgen of potatoes and it was all just thrown into a box with no care. I highly recommend everyone steer clear of this place and I know I’ll never return!
I have coeliac disease and have to be totally gluten free Just arrived from Wales uk ,the service was excellent very friendly staff and went though the menu to highlight everything they could do for me anybody coming to Nova Scotia should visit here coffee was amazing what a brilliant start to my holiday!!

Okay, so I go here regularly. It is not upscale; however, the food is good. The kitchen is open to making meal modifications which is great for me. When you love truffle, beef, and mashed potatoes and don't want the chicken or french fries, you're in the right place. (On the menu, the beef comes with french fries and the chicken comes with truffle).This restaurant is well-managed, the staff is friendly, and it is worth repeating that the food is good. I go for business meetings and for dinner in the evening... oh yes, and the occasional brunch on the weekends. Lots of parking is a bonus.... did I mention that the coffee is better than Tim's, McDonald's, Starbucks?
Maple burger on a rainy Saturday afternoon was amazing. It's a bit dated (some tables are showing their age and it feels exactly the same as it did 15 years ago), but the food is still great.
I purchased a gift card during the COVID Restaurant shut down in order to support local business’s that couldn’t be opened during the early days of COVID. When I went there today to use the card, I was told those programs have all expired.For your information - Gift cards don’t expire, as it says on the program detail site.Nice way to act after I gave you my money to help support you when you couldn’t open your doors.You just stole money from me.
