Love this place everything is amazing, staff is knowledgeable and nice, ambulance is great, food is terrific and I'm addicted to the muscles with a spicy cilantro sauce. So good! 5 stars. I been here several times always a great experience
Came here on a slow, sunny Saturday evening with three good friends. I ordered the burger. It arrived quickly and looked great. Tasted delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the unlimited water and the kind service. Absolutely would recommend.
During our trip to Nova Scotia, family and I visited Quinn’s Arms for the Sunday Roast – it came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The food looked and tasted amazing, and all plates and serving dishes were cleared, which is normally not easy to do with some picky eaters in the family. To top off the great food which left us well fed for the day, Terry was simply the kindest, warmest host, ensuring we all felt looked after. He made us feel welcome and made sure that everyone – including our 2-year old – had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at your establishment.
I'd give here 4.5 if it was an option.Friends invited me to the new Sunday Roast yesterday (June 12 2022) and it was a great first impression of this place! I lucked into street parking right in front. We had reservations, and it turns out that they weren't necessary bc we were the only table occupied for the first half hour or so. I hope that this Roast idea gets busier for the business' sake. I was expecting individual plates of food. A friend was expecting a buffet. What we got was two big platters of food brought to the table, just like a Sunday dinner at home! Food arrived fast, maybebin five minutes? Sliced roast beef, mashed garlic potatoes, roasted carrot chunks, two little gravy boats, fried big potato chunks, six Yorkshire puddings atop a small skillet of roasted, flavored Brussel Sprouts. All of this food was delicious. They perfected the portion amount on the two platters where the three of us were full by the end, with only minimal waste left. All three of us only drank water during the meal and opted out of dessert due to being full. So satisfied.The atmosphere is nice, British-pub themed I guess. Lots of natural light at the front, very dark as you get to the back. Sturdy wooden tables and big cushioned booth options for larger parties as well. Seating overall for 60 or 70 maybe?Friendly, straightforward service.I will be back!
Mixed experience. The food was decent, but they had menu items they couldn't serve at the time (production issues of some kind).Would be three-stars, except the selection of craft beer was too limited and leaned towards weak blonde ales and lagers. You got the sense that it was owned by Keith's as they kept pushing that poor-quality "glucose beer".I think that I will put my money and support into a few of the other local pubs which are popping up. Hopefully we can build a healthy pub culture in this town.
What a fantastic pub / restaurant in the amazing and diverse Quinpool Road west end neighbourhood. The food is really top notch and the staff is friendly, professional and efficient. They went all out on the decor with quality finishes and a classic design that looks like it’s been there for years. They have a variety of drinks from liquor to local beers and ales on tap. Vegan friendly too including a great spicy vindaloo pasta dish. Here’s the great fish and chips… delicious!
Went for their Sunday Roast. Absolutely fantastic food. And worth it. If they could find away to put the food on hot plates to keep it warm, would be excellent. You have to go, it's to die for. I still think of how tasty it was. Good job staff.
We enjoyed our evening at Quinn's Arms. The atmosphere was cozy and our waitress was great. The "no reservation policy" worked for us as we were able to come in at 830 on a Friday night and be seated. Don't expect too many choices if you're vegetarian, WFPB, or especially vegan. Their only menu option was for vegetarian curry, which was sold out. Maybe they will address this issue soon... The world is changing, people. Besides this, everything else was awesome.
Ordered the clam chowder and it was better than I ever expected! Everybody’s food was amazing, prices are okay, waiter was great. Solid place, will be back!
