The food was amazing and the service excellent.
Their Burger week burger is really good! Also the margarita pizza is a classic! Fun and friendly dining for all.
Crowds are just fine and so servers. Didn't dine here so far, but drink collection is a bit weak to me.That nostalgic Vespa motor bike keeps me still motivated enough to step inside while the place is located in one of the best part of the city and close to me. I wish I could have much time to spend there at ease and patience.Update: If you want to have authentic Italian food and great customer service, don't miss this place.

Still open when many restaurants have closed the dining-in option for covid. Easy to dine away from others for social distancing. Great service, and really good pizza with affordable lunch sizes!
Popped in for pizza the last day of our stay in Halifax. We loved it. Ordered the bruschetta and the Siciliana pizza. Delicious! The old fashioned wine glasses were a nice touch too.
My partner and I were in tonight for a date night. We have both been to Piatto many times and it is one of our Halifax dining staples. Tonight we ordered the Sicilana (without cheese), the Margherita (with added caramelized onions) and a bottle of the house red. The pizzas and wine were amazing! For dessert we had the tiramisu and limoncello which we're exquisite. Our server Kalista was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was comfy and inviting. Will definitely be back many times more
I’ve just come home from a four day stay in Halifax and I’m still thinking about the arancini. My girlfriend and I ended up eating at Piatto twice. It was that good! Our servers were excellent. We had Kalista the first night and Scott the second. Ask for either you won’t be disappointed. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Brian and getting to know him. It was an honour that he took the time to chat with us, we had a great time!
The pizza was absolutely fantastic with an amazing flavourful soup! The staff were amazing, Terri was so helpful and cheerful. Without knowing they made my whole trip to Halifax. It was long week and they were about turn that all around! Highly recommend!
