Past visits have shown that staff at Montana's in Bayers Lake go out of their way to make your meal a pleasant experience. Our Sunday lunch was no exception and the service from our waiter, Dave, was very good. My wife had a 10oz steak while I had buttermilk fried chicken. All food was not, tasty and we'll served on warmed plates. We finished with Apple crumble and ice cream. Pricing is reasonable. This was a good dining experience.
This place has amazing food. I appreciate that the quality is consistent. The lunch trio of 1/2 pulled pork sandwich, pot roast soup, and salad is a family favourite. The staff are friendly and welcoming
I haven't been to Montana's in years (probably before the pandemic) but the portion sizes for the price has really changed. I got a 10oz steak and mashed potatoes, the steak was good, the portion sizes for everything else was pretty small. I got gravy on the side and the comparison of the huge cup of gravy to the two tiny scoops of potatoes was crazy. I also really like the beans at Montana's as a little extra but there was barely any beans in the cup and was mostly all juice/sauce. If I ever go back I will likely just get fries since hopefully the portion size if bigger, I shouldn't still be hungry after eating a steak dinner for that price. If there wasn't the two big cups with the beans and gravy in the middle of the huge plate there would barely be anything on the plate potion wise.
It was my first visit to Montana’s. They have vegetarian options as well which is even better. We had all vegetarian dishes nachos, veggie burger, cheesy bread and oven-Baked Antojitos. Loved it all. Would recommend vegetarian people to visit this place for their amazing food and ambience.
As you see from the photos, I was already halfway through the meal before remembering to take a photo - that’s the review!Very tasty, great portion size, good price point. The corn bread was divine.
A Friday evening with family. We were seated immediately and our waitress was there with menu's and to take drink orders. Drinks arrived, food ordered and on the table within ten minutes. Steak, ribs, fries, baked potato were cooked perfectly and lots of flavour. Our waitress checked on us a few times and we had no complaints. Bill paid and spent additional times catching up with family and never felt rushed. A very enjoyable meal.
Ordered the lunch rush. This is apparently half a sandwich. Took them 1hr to bring out the food and the soup that came with it, they didn’t even bring it out. Worst service ever and so disappointing with the size of the food too.
I go here regularly. Great food, specifically all the appetizers; can’t go wrong with those. Also the chicken burger is very tasty. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.
Given that I cannot use coarse language here, I cannot adequately express how amazingly fantastic this meal was. It was fu**ing amazing! The bun was gluten free and it was so delicious I actually questioned whether they gave me the wrong bun or not. I was assured it was indeed gluten free. It was by far the best bun I’ve ever eaten. The fries were nice and crispy and the burger (firecracker) was hands down the most flavourful burger I’ve ever eaten. Well done!!!My dinner mate had the chicken tacos and she was delighted in the quality of the meat, that it wasn’t too salty, and that the taco wasn’t drowning in lettuce! Her sauce was INCREDIBLE.THANK YOU Montana’s for totally making this perfect lunch perfectly!!!
Excellent place! Great service and food. Had the All you can ribs on Wednesday and for $30, it’s a good price. Beer was cold and served promptly. We visit Montana’s often but first time at this location. We’ll be back.
