Shish kabob > chicken was good ( container is almost 8 inch diameter) the chicken pieces are lame ? taste like 6.5/10Rice they use 6/10 probably some cheap quality brown grain , on the up side extra skewer costed me 1.5 so not bad at allFalafel > probably they have roo be fried like 4 times before like breaded and fried again, they might look decent in the picture but they were not edible.And pita , store bought nothing specialSalad is good ,This meal was made at 1 hr before closing ,Uhh that's it ,Their chicken shawarma plate is better but not amazing.Not just one person is to blame , it's the whole restaurant, cook, trainer, hiring manager, and owner.Overall for this meal 4/10 , go for McDonald's or some fast food chain , they will get you same food almost every time
We were planning on going to Johnny K's up the street, but it had closed permanently and a sign on the door suggested coming here, their "sister" location.The location was clean and well put together. The staff were actually pretty curt and unfriendly. The food was just "ok". There were sparse accompaniments like tomatoes and onions and whatnot, but it was like they forgot to add the extras (just seemed to be 99% donair meat in the wrap), and not enough sauce so the flavors weren't balanced.
I was there around 4 pm and the lady treated us with a negative attitude. It cost 14$ for a large wrap which is too much considering that it doesn't include anything else, and it wasn't even that large. Moreover, I was told that the beef is "halal," and the chicken is haram. Using the same utensils will result in the beef becoming haram. Overall bad experience and a waste of time & money
MEZZA! I love your food! However your new staff are not cutting it. March 1st I received under cooked chicken and over cooked rice. Barrington location. I probably eat a shawarma plate 3 times a month! But the new staff are dropping the loyalty. I'll change this back to a 5 star once this changes. I want to see local succeed! lets go!
Mezza is great! A Lebanese chain here in Halifax that never disappoints! Staff are always friendly, and the food is fantastic. Definitely a great spot for a quick, light, and delicious meal. I always recommend Mezza to my friends for a quick meal. Love Mezza and will keep coming back
This is the extra large donair with extra meat. It’s definitely packed into a small pita. If this is extra large with extra meat I’d hate to see the regular. The look on my face is one only replicated by the disappointed wemen i rarely bring home. I’ve had tacos bigger then this. I almost turned around to return this sad little donair. 18$ I should of just held on to. Mezza I’m disappointed and I feel ripped off.
Ordered donair and a poutine. Poutine was great. Donair was bad. Donair meat was massive hunks of cold meat.Donair is meant to be sliced and warm. No good.
Guy working in the back (clearly visible) was not wearing a mask over his nose or any gloves (!!!) while passing lentils to the guy working on the line for my order. This is unacceptable, especially in the middle of a COVID surge. They were also skimpy on the toppings.
Location is great, in the ❤ of downtown, parking is an issues as parking in downtown is always limited.New design and decorations is good ?, it is comparable with fast food restaurants.Waiting time and services, the waiting time was plausible when I was there, the service was right away, however I have an issue with the style of service as it became like subway.Shawarma wrap wasn't to the level of expectations as barely we tested the chicken and the meat was overcooked. The wrap was filled more with stuffing and less meat ?. Shawarma has to be filled with chicken ? and sauce and sometimes with fries ?.Sorry guys you need to upgrade the ingredients.Conclusion, next time I will think for alternatives.
Food here was very clean dinning in there's only 1 problem and it's not the food just has no wifi but food there and service was pretty solid over all 8/10
