Great service, great food, great location!

the food is incredible, with impeccable service. a must stop when in Halifax.

I almost didn't end up going to Los Toros for dinner and I know now that I would have regretted missing this amazing opportunity to enjoy scrumptious food. The paella was delicious and arrived fairly quickly. I liked how the dish had both shrimp with shell and without shell on. Very helpful for my picky husband that doesn't like peeling his shells. The mussels were cooked to perfection and very smooth tasting. The chorizo added a kick of heat while the chicken blended well with all of it. The rice was packed full of saffron that you could taste, smell, and see. My plate was covered with left over oil but I scraped every grain of rice. My husband also ordered a sangria, the rose petal, which has a rose wine from Spain and I am enticed by the sweetness of the drink. I'm a picky drinker (everything tastes sour or bitter), so I highly recommend it for people who like sweeter drinks.

I have had the amazing paella. I never thought artichoke hearts could that nice, the service was quick and staff were very helpful. Not many gluten free options but the staff made sure take care allergy specific instructions. If you're looking for quiet place for talk and nice Spanish dinner in Halifax this is your place.

Los Toros in Halifax waterfront largely exceeded my expectations. Everything from food, venue, service & ambiance, was top-notch. The Valencian mixta paella didn't not disappoint; it was excellent, and I have had paella in Barcelona in the past, so I could tell how good Los Toros's really was! Highly recommend Los Toros!

Their seafood paella and seafood pasta were amazing!! We really enjoyed it!! :))

Had a wonderful meal and our needs were looked after by Paul. Great job Paul. The food is so good, fresh and delicious. First class

My friend and I slid in to Los Toros one evening while walking on the historic Halifax waterfront, for an evening cocktail to cap off our day. We were looking for a place that felt fit for discerning tastes, and this restaurant did not disappoint! We were immediately impressed with the elegant New York feel to the atmosphere - the lighting was low, very comfortable and set the mood, and everything from the bar to the furniture, fixtures and music fit the style perfectly. The cocktails we ordered were made with care and attention, and were outstanding. The bartender was affable and friendly, and although we weren't up for a meal at the time, the menu looked diverse and interesting. This place is a gem!

When we arrived here we waited 15 minutes for our host to greet us. There wasn't anyone ahead of us and when we did get greeted it seemed we were more of an inconvenience than anything. Our host was anything but welcoming. The interior was stylish, clean and bright with some cool features like the wine wall that separated the rooms. Our server was our saving grace for the whole experience. She was suggestive on menu items and drinks. She was upbeat and friendly. The drinks we ordered were underwhelming. The sangria was terrible. Our apps were delicious. The San Sabatian Serrano was so good and the presentation was neat.We decided to leave after our appetizer because we just weren't enjoying our visit like we had hoped.Pros: neat environment, friendly waitress, tasty apps.Cons: aweful host, mediocre drinks
