I hadn't eaten all day and was so hungry so I ordered here for the first time.After eating my plate lastnight, I have been violently vomiting, as well as the other symptoms of food poisoning. I have never been so violently ill.I think it's safe to say that I would not recommend.
This place was awesome when Neil opened years ago, we ate there many times. Over the years, the food quality has been just getting less inviting. Tonight, we showed up at 9:30pm and although they don't show a close in til 10pm, we were told they are closed. Walked out and the sign was changed to closed behind us. I'm sorry Neil but i can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. You are closed.
Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, absolutely disgusting. Their Chicken Soo guy gravy wasn’t even brown of any color (was whiteish), their seafood Cantonese had maybe 4 shrimp and 2 scallops. Portion size was very small, I highly recommend to skip this place and look for better.
Ordered online although they were closed (I wasn't aware) and they took my money out of my account. No food and down $40 bucks. Maybe shutdown your online ordering while not open?
First time having Chinese food here and not bad. Had the chicken fried rice, beef and veggies with egg roll ?? will order again!
Good prices and portions.Most items were tasty but ginger beef didn't have any hint of Ginger.
It's been a while since writing something about any restaurant. They all seem to be blending together and offering the same. HOWEVER - we have just stumbled across a true gem. It's called LOON7. When you go to a Chinese restaurant and there are eight sit-down customers and ALL of them are Chinese - that's a good sign. When the service is genuinely interested in helping you with your order, that's another good sign. This was an excellent choice. ! Excellent food. All-round, an excellent experience. This will be our new "go to" restaurant for Chinese food. We choose the combo T-9 and the combo T-13 which turned out to be great choices for us.
This place has actual authentic Chinese food. I'm certain anything off the menu would be delicious ( we had the chicken balls and they were wonderful. Not overly battered, good quality chicken ) but do yourself a favor and get something off the proper Chinese menu. The flavors are incredible, portion sizes very large, and everything is well priced. It's a true hidden gem in the north end.

Tasty food, very authentic, good to try different style of Chinese food. Will come back again.
