The food, ambience and server were fantastic. The cocktails list was incredible and it was difficult to choose which to try first. I am looking forward to going again soon!

I haven’t going to Kyo for the last two years. I love the atmosphere service and the food I am always recommending to anyone looking for a new good vibing place to eat

Wow! Amazing place ! Amazing price !! Excellent value!

We had an ALMOST amazing experience at Kyo. We are something of Ramen fiends and have enjoyed ramen across Canada.Kyo offers the traditional Tonkotsu Ramen with expected appetizers. They also supplement their menu with a broad range of imported sake. I enjoyed a slice of sake that was clearly and enthusiastically described by their well-informed waiter.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend eating here for two reasons. Firstly, but most importantly, the noodles. Ramen is all about the noodles. These noodles were, well, mush. We ordered six Ramen dishes, three traditional tonkatsu and three vegetarian. Well the broth was tasty the Ramen servings were on the small side and we could not enjoy our meal fully due to the sad consistency of our noodles which squished into our mouths. We were super slide on a fairly typical Wendy Halifax day. We did ask if it was possible to eat inside and were told that the restaurant was not able to accommodate us as they had other bookings. About half way through our meal I looked wistfully inside the entirely empty restaurant and wondered if this was entirely true or they were trying to bring in trade by placing us outside. By the end of the meal I believe this was the case as we remained the only patrons. This restaurant has a lot to offer and I look forward to them making minor improvements for other customers.

Best service in town, but the food was soooooo bad. Way too salty that it needed to be remake by pooring the boil water in but told me that they would remake it (words from this server and action from the other) and no flavour at all, just taste the salt and water. The drink is fine tho.

I chose this restaurant because of the extensive sake menu. Open to all diverse members of the community The staff was very friendly and professional. The food we had were small plates but each was artfully plated and very good. The karage was exceptionally 🥰 They are known for their ramen but everything looked good Saw lots of friends & couples. There’s also a small front patio. Lots of people trying the cocktails 🍸 Very nice experience and I would highly recommend this establishment to friends/family

The server Ashley was exceptional. My wife has a corn allergy and Ashley worked with the chef to ensure a safe and delicious experience. Thank you for the fantastic service, delicious meal and great experience. We will return!

I ordered the karaage and waffles. I went for my friend's birthday. He ordered the okonomiyaki, Tokyo Coffee and Tonkotsu Ramen. I was a little disappointed they didn't have the souffle pancakes. I ordered the mango and lychee mimosas. Lychee was better than mango. The music was enjoyable and I knew most of the songs. We had the place to ourselves pretty much. I'm looking forward to going again.

Some of the best cocktails in the city. Very chill atmosphere and decor.

The server Liam was just outstanding …. Food was Very good as were drinks
