I have been a regular at this restaurant for over 2 years. The food has been consistently fresh and tasty ( with the exception of a few changes under the current new ownership, which were changed back quickly), but I am now noticing that portions are much smaller and prices have gone up. Not a lot, but still, less food for more money. I will still eat here, but less often.
This is a true hidden gem. They have amazing meat and vegan options which is super uncommon at this price range, they are actually affordable! The people who work there seem to be a family? They are all super nice and friendly and easy to talk to, make sure to check this place out if you get the chance!
Banh Mi and coffee are mouthwatering ! Will be back
Absolutely delicious, and it's priced competitively. (Especially for how good it is) I had tofu curry, they were out but she made it fresh.Store was open later than posted. Which I hope isn't because they aren't getting enough customers. People should eat here when in this mall! The mall has not much to offer, except this little delicious secret on the bottom floor.
Love their crunchy and tasty Banh my. Truly Vietnamese taste - I can tell. Just heard that the menu has been updated. Definitely will drop by to try when I am in downtown next time.
Super friendly people. Amazing vegetarian spring rolls and lunches. I always visit here when I am in Spring Garden looking for lunch. You should come here if you are vegetarian or looking for a quick lunch!
They are very friendly! Amazing food at a reasonable price! Been there at least three times and planning to go back soon! Highly recommend their chicken wonton soup!
I can't believe the generous portion of the $6.50 "chubby bun"! I was expecting this would be like a little round steam bun, circular and doughy with a savoury center, like a large Korean dumping (or jjim bbang); and when she asked me chicken or pork I assumed it would be a little bit of minced pork with some marinade and cut veg inside.
Authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi. So yummy!
Stopped here prior to seeing a movie at the adjacent theater. I enjoyed a plate of pad Thai and a spring roll. Both were tasty and the pad Thai was made fresh to order. I appreciated the fact that they asked if I wanted peanuts (I do not have a peanut allergy, but know people who do and this is a very serious matter that was thoughtfully addressed here). The menu isn't huge - it is a small kiosk with limited kitchen space located inside a mall. The items on offer looked good and the combination plates were good value. The owners were friendly and accommodating.
