I’ve been searching for the best Indian food in Halifax (for years), I lived in Toronto for a bit and would get Indian there a lot, but couldn’t find anything to compare in Halifax.I just ordered some for lunch and I felt emotional how good it was ♥️Please never stop.1 000 000/ 10
Very good selection although they were out of stock on a few things I wanted. Prices were missing so I had to ask more than once. Excellent fresh samosas that I will definitely be buying again.
Just ordered some food items from their Newly opened restaurant. Allo tikki was good I can give 4 starts to that but rest of the food was money waste. I ordered Kadhai Paneer and It was bland no salt no spice even I wrote specifically to make it extra spicy. Ordered Dal Makhni, it was OK same no salt no spice. The shocking moment is when opened my Naan. Paid 2.49/ naan and they were premade/ Walmart. Ordered Samosas, the masala inside it was good but the oil they fried samosa was smelling bad. They set the expectations to keep the order ready in 35-45 mins and took 55-65 mins approx.Overall it was a really bad experience
Very helpful staff and owners. Great selection of groceries of all types from India. Also hot meals and Indian sweets. Ladoos taste great!
Amazing place to get the things you need for cooking Indian and Asian food. You can also grab a bite here of a few very interesting Indian snacks such as samosas and mango lassi.Great taste and even a full meal can be ordered in advance .
I’m sharing My experience, store is excellent!! Once i went there did my groceries and the guy asked for bags, i said I don’t need that, i can carry!! But an another guys was also standing with him probably owner said give him cardboard box which was usually we through in garbage but he played with his mind and charged me 2$ for BoX which supposed to go to Garbage!! I got know when i checked the bill at home!! Don’t be too smart!!
Big scammers—Make sure you check your bill if you visit them. They gonna give you a experience that you are not going next time to shop there. I went to this shop on 30/05/22 and what i found in my bill is that they charged me for one extra item which i didnt buy.I again went to them and told them to check the camera if i pick mango lassi from the shelve or if he put in my bag after scanning and my billing time was at 12:25.No answer from them on this because i know how these guys make extra money on till.Never ever i am going to this shop again.
If you need anything authentic for cooking indian cuisine you will definitely get it here. This store has all the spices that I need for satisfying my Indian taste buds.
The groceries are of good quality and you find almost everything here. The take out is a whole new level, the food here is top notch much better than Indian restaurants in Halifax.
Best samosas in town! Really affordable for a solid snack or meal. Their takeout food is also delicious and the mango Lassi is awesome in the summer months!!!
